+OrangeJeepDad That's great! Sounds like you will be putting in some swales to keep what little water falls out of the sky. Do you listen to Jack Spirko? He has a lot of material on arid farming, though he gets a little more rain in the Dallas area.

Do you have irrigation close by? That's good country, if you can get water to it.

+Nicholas Smerk agreed. I built my enclosed trailer into a workshop so I don't have to use garage space. It also helped keep my tools mobile since, as a renter, I knew that I wouldn't be staying put for very long.

It's hard to fit stuff in even 3 garage door bays...and unfinished basements are good living spaces in my neck of the woods too.

Nicholas, to my knowledge garages are not included in square footage of a home. There are no unfinished buildings but I would like to add some outbuildings.

Hi Eddie, mate (Im Australian), I feel your pain !! I used several methods and tools to get that wrenched stuff out...for large areas a garden hoe or matick is good needless to say go easy with this method , as you get closer to the hull a common metal and plastic paint scrapers are good , then finally a wood chisel and screwdriver to get out those final bits .....take your time.....its messy and unpleasant...but out off chaos comes order , it will be worth the trouble, I promise....best wishes Phil
