Thats what dogs play. "Rough" I thought my dog was trying to bite me at first. Its only a chiwawa mixed with weenie dog, and its a girl lol. U train them rough, they will play rough. It acts like an attack dog and watches out like a watch dog. And she has took on other bigger dogs that don't even want to fight. "Scratched them up" She's went through alot in her past that we don't know bout. I don't think she'd survive if she took on an attack dog or street cat though.
