+TheSzandor If I were to guess, though, I'd say God is willing and able to do something about evil, I just don't think He's done it, yet. There will be a day He will do something about it, finish it, once and for all. That day has not yet come. But for believers, I think He stops and prevents evil in certain circumstances. You have to understand I come from a place of belief that because the Lord has given us all free will, then we are in many ways left to our own circumstances. We have to live with good and evil both equally so we can decide for ourselves which path to follow. That's part of the reason evil exists in the world. It's also because we live in a fallen state, because man rebelled. So everything is not perfect. That means some of us choose to follow God, and others don't. But guess what? I still love those who don't! I wasn't always an ignorant Christian! :) You can worship the Devil and I'll still be your friend.

I can't prove that God is real. In fact I'd say there is no proof, none that would satisfy the most skeptic heart, because the Lord wants us to make the choice ourselves whether He's real or not. If He put real proof out in the world, something that would be considered undeniable hard-evidence, then any person, even every scientist and scholar, would know God was real because of that proof, not because of ones own choosing. God gave us all free will, we choose whether or not to believe Him. That's why faith is so important. That's my opinion.
