the only thing that I don't like, if it is a belt, a new belt regardless
normally will stop the squeaking. its rather or not it comes back in a
month or so. I did the water trick and no matter were I sprayed the noise
went away. thought it was the belt. went got a new belt, put it in and
for a couple months no squeaking. but after a couple months came back.
was not a gator belt. so maybe it would last longer.
+Guy Six thanks. will look at it. need to find out how to figure out which I need. I have a 98 Plymouth grand voyager SE. 3.3L. I saw one online but then I go to amazon and it says not compatible with my vehicle.
Thanks for "saving by bacon"! Did find a "cheater bar" helped on my car
where the existing belt was broken and I (like an idiot) loosen the hinge
bolt on the tensioner and had a bit of a time getting the stud on the
tensioner back in place with the new belt on. Thanks again though, you
saved me!---Dan
Any time Dan.. Save my bacon lots of times from others you tube vids.. So we just try to give back and help others. Thanks for watching and thumbs up..
Im sorry if i come off a little 'ignorant' but, is there a certain amount
of tension you need to put on the belt when you're tightening the tensioner
up?
