+ToMMy M No you can join a linux pc to a domain without using likewise I used to do it all the time. I think likewise just configures the config files for you. I have dome it manually several times. Besides Window$ sux

The Group Policy restrictions are available in ubuntu (let's say the restriction about desktop wallpaper )? I read something about Centrify but i don't know exactly how. Do you know more about it?

Not as such but you can use Puppet or Chef to centrally manage Linux configuration

nice! Small doubt? I installed active directory in windows 2008 server I created one user name (client) I want to 'client' can login in LINUX and I will share a drive in windows and that drive need to access by client in LINUX Please help me bro

How to add a pc to the domain with existing user accounts without losing the data and emails on outlook, because when you add the pc to the domain it will give you a totally new environment, is there a way to have all the existing environment after joining to the domain?
