The only role this "multirole fighter" can fill is that of STAND UP
COMEDIAN. Yeah it can stand up on it's wheels alright, and it does kill
everything in sight to be honest, WITH UNCONTROLLABLE LAUGHTER.
I heard they have already nicknamed the jet. The pilots call it the "F-35
SEINFIELD" Seinfield the show was a "sitcom about nothing" as seinfield
himself would say. And I think it fits this jet, because it does absolutely
NOTHING but entertain you with all of the jokes that make up it's
capabilities.

+1barnet1 Yeah, the rest pull 7.5g which is still more than it needs. as for kinetic energy, EVERY plane requires shit loads of kinetic energy to pull 9gs.. Plus pilots cant sustain that for very long anyway so that point is?? None.Russians have had better planes since the MIG 29. That thing shouldve mopped the floor with the F16s, F18s and the F15 (my fave plane) but it didnt.. how come?? They were more agile, fast as fuck, very well equipped, can pull more than 9gs etc so why couldnt it down anything if its so far superior?? Because pilots. The F35 is a plane thats far too expensive for its abilities but its one helluva plane regardless and the pilots who fly it are the best in the world.. Its not a plane thats gonna be going down anytime soon.

+AKA Zeus Only the A version can pull 9g's and only under ideal circumstances losing a LOT of kinetic energyPretty much all 4th gen fighters can maintain energy better. Russian fighter have FAR higher angle of attack for snapshots.

It's not invisible to radar, (or anything like it.
Incapable of supporting ground troops
Can't turn so it's not a fighter
Terrible loiter time (90 mins max)
So yes it is a turkey.
This piece is a very childish bit of PR. Pray it never has to face a modern
fighter in combat.
Oh! And @$300m for the f35b idiotically expensive. That alone is going to
kill it.

It's to make it harder to detect. or decrease detection range.That means the enemy has less time to scramble or react to an incoming attack. It's a asset unfortunately it's only one.It can turn for a bomber.......... it's outmanouvered by most if not all 4th gen fighters.Every fighter has terrible loiter times. They are fast movers (except this one)Some roles can be combined. Close air support in and a fighter role is incompatible.You missed the worst part. It can't run off when bogey's are coming in.mach 1.6 tops good luck against SU 35's

they made the F-16 somewhat stealth with the silent eagle. Fly those over the new S400 surface to air system Russia employs and see how many survive. Stealth is not just a coating its designed into the aircraft.
