I have a problem with the installation. I decided to download it manually because I wanted to customize the number of dragon souls needed and followed your directions exactly until 5:26 because the file that got transfered to winrar included the "asi" folder which only included "soulsToPerks.ini" file inside, and a "soulsToPerks.asi" folder outside the "asi" folder. so I decided to extract the "asi" file and then extract the "soulsToPerks.asi" folder into the "asi" folder.

I finally figure it out how it works. go to your Steam/SteamApps/common/skyrim, then copy dinput8.dll and ScriptDragon.dll files into (skyrim) where TESV.exe is at. Then take the asi folder to Steam/SteamApps/common/skyrim/Data and also put soulsToPerks.asi into the asi folder. Inside the asi folder, it should have both soulsToPerks.ini and .asi Then you all set. I tried it this way and it works for me 100%. I hope this helps.

Doesn't work for me but i gues the game has been updated again (my Version is 1.7.7.0.6; german version) I did everything like you did in your vid (Thanks by the way! Very helpfull video) but i get an error when loading the game ( [SoulsToPerk] Skyrim version not supported: 0x508b018b) The DragonScript should work as it is quite up to date. Maybe its the german version...

i triple checked everything that i did. the only problem im having is with the asi files from the skyrim nexus download. everytime i extract the files, it only seems to put the ini file in the skyrim folder. ive done this multiple times, and i cannot get the asi folder to copy in my skyrim folder. its probably a stupid mistake, but i need help.

Oh, FYI I noticed that you (and probably some other people) have a harder time reading the .ini in Notepad. Though notepad works, if you're going to be editing .ini files (like you end up doing for TES and FO games) "Notepad ++" would be well worth the download. It makes it oh so much easier to read.

but when I load the game, i get the message"[SoulsToPerks] Skyrim version not supported: 0x18246c89". so i tried just extracting both to the skyrim folder but got the same error message. The mod doesn't even work f i use the nexus mod manager. could you please help?

found something else... Is another mod but does the same.. you can even put souls into health magicka and stamina... unfortunately i am somehow not alowed to post links.. just search for "steam workshop spend dragon souls for perks" hopefully this helps someone!

A very nice and useful mod. Unfortunately, it only works on the original game and not Dawnguard nor Hearthfire ... I've tried it myself because I was looking at my dragon soul "Stock" not knowing what can I do with it. And now, I'm back to square one :/

Sorry you feel this way. I made this video a long time ago and back then this worked exactly as I did it. I have not used this in a long time and I know there must have been a lot of changes since. Is there a guide on the download page for this mod ?

I've followed the instructions, but when I start Skyrim, the mod is not loaded. The other mods included in Script Dragon load, and Skyrim notifies me, but soulstoPerks is not loaded. Any idea what is going wrong?

Ok, after many tries I can say that I have the same error message. I see on the nexus page of the mod that the last update was about Skyrim v1.4.21.0. Maybe is this the problem? I have 1.6.etc!

It won't work for me no matter where I put the files (skyrim/asi or skyrim/data/asi). I installed it exactly as you say in the video and how the mod's creator says, but nothing happens.

is there a way to set it to increase the amount of needed souls per "transmute"? for instance, first time uses 1 soul, second time uses 2 souls, third time uses 4 souls... and so on..

I updated the mod and it works now. Make sure you have the latest version of ScriptDragon and of the mod, then it should work. It works for me.

I'm really happy with the way you created this MOD. It seems as if you've managed to create it in a way that does not feel like I am cheating, or creating an advantage, like as if I were to just add these perks through the Console Commands. This way I feel like I have worked hard, and earned these rewards. Especially when combined with the Deadly Dragons MOD, so every Soul gained is a great reward, and you feel like you've earned it and work hard to save up to get that next perk! i love this MOD

One small issue, the location! Unfortunately I have the mod "Riverwood Castle" in Riverwood. The stones sit right in the walls of the castle, I can fast-travel to them, but I'll spawn in the walls and can actually use two of the stones only. The other stone is inside the wall of the castle so it is unreachable. To leave the stones, I have to fast-travel again to get out of the walls or else I get stuck. This castle is one of my favorite castle mods, I have so much stuff stored inside the castle.

the problem is that if you have a hard copy you can't get any mods from steam atleast i tried it but it didn't work so i tried other ways which brought me to manually implementing them aka downloading mods somewhere else which brought me to nexus once but at nexus this mod is outdated (last time i visited) don't know if he has updated it there but anyways atm im playing guild wars 2 which is also a hard copy :D

No, mods don't disable achievements. Doing that would be the same as telling the community not to mod the game, which, considering how mod-friendly the PC is, would be like telling the community to go do inappropriate things to themselves. Besides, people would just go to Nexus, and it's nearly impossible to block dedicated modders from modding a game if they have their hearts set on it.

I've maxed three characters, and I've always felt like an ass when I decided to use the Scroll of Perfection mod to make my character, uh, perfect. This mod makes it possible to max out perks as well as levels, makes it challenging, and, on top of all that, does it in a fair, lore-friendly way. This is easily my favourite mod right now.

Can you elaborated on the two types of dragons? Because that's really weird since I have been able to absorb all the souls I have ever encountered. Also, lately, the dragons I have slain don't turn into a skeleton: they burn up but then they keep their skin after the burn animation. Is this a glitch with the new patch or something?

Excellent mod, it gives the dragons (and their souls) purpose again after you've collected all of the shouts :-) The only thing I would like to see added is some way of seeing how many souls you have left to spend, other than going to the magic->shouts menu. Perhaps something like "Do you wish to spend your souls? (23)".

Actually he was wrong. There are indeed two types of dragons but they have nothing to do with the no soul problem since they are simply used as template data and not actually placed in the game. His mod doesn't cause it either. It's a bug when an in-game script does not work properly.

the same place where you download every legit mod for skyrim go to your steam librairy click on skyrim there you can find the Workshop place where people post mods they created theres a fuckton of amazing mods there from glitch fixes to new weapons new enemys entire houses etc etc

Ah! So I have to find these stones to upgrade my perks! I thought they could be used from the skills menu, and was frustrated when I couldn't figure out how to use them! Thank you for clearing this up! And thank you for the mod.

Strange, when I activate the stone, it does nothing. Whatever how many times I activate it, it just just have some odd sounds but does nothing. And the Inscription does same too. If anyone can help, please reply!

u have to have bought skyrim on steam to use this mod on steam, if you bought skyrim as a disk or whatever then you need to go to nexus mods, but I think he removed it form there so yeah..

Funny I have the Nexus version and it's the same version as on the Steam Workshop. Think I will stick with the Nexus version, don't really trust Steam handling my mods for Beth games.

I only hear the sound of perks when I click on stone! It's work for me but my dragon souls go to -1 until that my hero can only listen music of the stupid ston :( Any suggestion?

This mod is only available on steam, and will not be made available elsewhere. Plus, non-steam versions of the game are pirated, and I believe in supporting the developer.
