This is definitely a dilemma. That is why measures must be taken to reach
"at risk" children with early intervention programs so that they do not
grow into this sort of life.

Rachel Maddow Questions Tom Coburn's Wild Claims
For whatever reason, Senator Tom Coburn claims that the 9/11 First Responders Bill never went through a committee. When searching through records, ...
Rachel, Rachel --- another 1/2 truth from MSNBC. Washington Post: "Coburn
didn't attend that hearing, which undercuts his argument. But there wasn't
a mark-up of the legislation or a vote in the committee. It was brought
straight to the floor. So Coburn was partly right and partly wrong: There
was testimony, and you can argue there was debate. But there wasn't the
sort of debate you'd get in a mark-up, and the bill didn't go "through" a
committee."
@iamavet oh please. you will need a much, much better example than this
one. he tried to portray this bill as a rush job when clearly it wasn't. if
you want to debate what constitutes "going through" a committee in the face
of coburn's blatant dishonesty, you do it at risk of your own credibility.
rachel was about 90-plus percent correct. coburn was about 2 percent
correct.
@iamavet a mighty small figleaf for the doctor. he also complained that
it's being forced through at the end of the year when he knows that's
because the repubs have blocked it for a year. he also said he wanted to
"spend whatever it takes" to help the first responders, then insisted they
cut money from it. defending this man is not a winning proposition.
Sorry to disappoint you but I could care less for Coburn or the 911
responders debate. There are just as many 1st responders in all cities and
NY responders are only one of them. Rachel may be popular with the
Progressives because of her 'red meat' news but she continues twist facts
or only report 1/2 the news.
@tishhead Not defending anyone. I am getting sick of "news' programs
twisting the facts so they can play 'got ya' for laughs or make points. I
have noticed almost every Rachel show, there are 1/2 truths. It is time she
get called on it. Maybe her subtitle should be 'Toyko Rose'.
