I'm almost certain GM sold almost none of these. I didn't see or hear about these until they came out with the gawdy ones.

+Sawashi32 I see the current gen and previous gen escalades sometimes. I do see alot of old suburbans and yukons. No one really buys the escalade. All I see are Mercedes-Benz GL and lexus lx.

Maybe its a geographic thing, but where I live these things were everywhere when they were new. But nowadays I can hardly spot one Escalade per week. Its all about the small cross over vehicles now.

GM was a little bit lazy with the design of the first gen Escalade. Not much to distinguish it from your vanilla Tahoe or Yukon besides the badges.

+Zoe Thompson Yes. It was a very lazy GM badge job. But it was rushed to compete with the Lincoln Navigator in the late 90s. The 2nd gen is my fave. Well I love all generations of the Escalade except for the first gen haha.

+talldude123 Yeah the Aftermarket ones never really look right and these were Factory 16" and I cant Imagine any other 20" Wheel looking this good...;-)

looks good and clean.. no damage covered up. I'd rather see small marks here an there.. then you don't care so much..I enjoy a vehicle more this way then perfect :-)
