+13lacle Of course it wouldn't be the photons it self, but rather the machine producing them. The pulse of energy generating those photons is at 1 Khz and must be of considerable wattage. I guess that that EM pulse would interfere with surrounding, weaker EM radiation carrying radio signals at the same frequency.

+xithappens I don't think that the ULF range will be effected much, if at all. The timing of the pulse is in ULF range, however the photon being produced is not at that frequency. The photon produced will be at the same frequency as the photons from the laser (same color).So the another way to think of it would be to think if you turned a blue flashlight on and off at the red light frequency would you see any red light? I am pretty sure you wouldn't.They seem to be controlling where the ionization occurs by the focal point of the laser beam. That's not necessarily true. It's possible to have a high frequency without having huge wattage.

I was going to write something similar, the kHz is about the energy state of the laser / photons (?) and not about broadcasting, so, no interference.You also voiced my concern about the potential dangers. I'm guessing that's why the image is displayed out of reach, so, no one can get burnt. I'm thinking it could pose a danger to insects, birds or any other creature that could stray into the image.

I never used the ICR in the beta. The HvK was pretty good for me. But you're right, the ICR is the m27/ACR
