the 991 generation is new. let's see what comes of it through some time. I
have heard rumors they are planning a turbo version for the 991 GT3RS. I
don't like that idea. I think gt3 should not have a turbo. if its going to
have turbo, just call it a gt2 !!
+ólafur Helgason But the Mezger engine is one of the best engines ever made. The only reason they didn't use it in the newer car is because of emissions. This was the car where in stock form took part in the nurburgring 12 hours and came 13th overall. Then drove back to the factory after that. The new car's engine just cannot compare to it. Plus, no manual gearbox. A huge step in the wrong direction if you are a car lover...
The 4.0 gt3 rs 997 is more expensive than the 991 it is limited. Aswell for the 991 GT3 it´s the first one to offer direct fuel injected flat six and electric steering so the 991 gt3 offers a new era of Gt3's , in my case i think that´s a good step
+vtecnegro85 I'm sorry but watch the video! By the time the 4.0 was at 200, the new car despite its double clutch gearbox and launch control was only at 185, that's creaming right there! And the 4.0 is my favorite car of all time!!
@apple68723 das ist kein Cup S. Der Cup S hat die Endrohre in der
Heckschürze drin und nicht drunter bzw. außen, wie der RS bzw Cup.
Desweiteren hat der Cup S noch andere Details, die ich jetzt nicht alle
aufzählen will. Es kann sein, dass das einfach ein RS mit Cup Flügel ist. ;)
@apple68723 @TobiX09 wie bereits auf englisch erklärt: Es ist ein 997 Gt3
(MKI) mit sehr sehr vielen verbauten Cupteilen (inkl. Abgasanlage).
