An example for Americans to follow, people hunger for real freedom and are only appeased never satisfied with anything else. A rare combination, a man with a loud enough voice to be noticed with the courage to speak out.America needs a man with a loud voice who will be heard by all to speak out to spark the beginning of the end of this growing tyranny. I would to God that I had the audience for one day.

First of all, don't be a dick to your fellow libertarian. Second, I never said anything in favor of government funding of the Smithsonian. All I said was it's not the subject matter of this video. Reason has made videos in the past against the institution. If you took the time to check that out you'd know that. The video is about Ai Weiwei. Nothing else. It shouldn't be that hard to understand.

Thanks for reminding everyone about perspective. Ai Weiwei lives in a country with real tyranny, while us Americans live in a country with amazing amounts of freedom under no serious threat at all. I appreciate it.

I guarantee you that most who are rallying for Weiwei and criticizing China are also criticizing Obama for his drone strikes. Myself being one of them. ReasonTV did a video about the drone strikes last Christmas.

Just because the Smithsonian was in this video doesn't mean it had anything to do with the subject matter. The video was about the artist in question. The issue of the Smithsonian's funding is for another video.

And China and the US were the best of friends even then. China has enjoyed "Most Favored Nation" trading status since 1994. The US is only now beginning to *think about* dropping its economic embargo of Cuba. So much for human rights.
