Yeah it was. Felt more like a 200 yard dash. LOL I believe I did post it on the hound site last winter. Hopefully get some more video's this fall.

. I have learn to sex them and tattoo there ears the proper way. yes I was clueless all I have done was pick up a book "stores guide to keeping rabbits" and have never taken care of one in the past, as all people they have what you call a learning curve I was never irresponsible in the care of the rabbits they got fresh water and food every day. an for me repulsion you I bet you are one of them people that live off of welfare and think it is ok to do so, having animals for food is nothing new!!

Wow. You're disgusting. Not only are you breeding animals that there are already tons of needing homes, but you're keeping them outside, in a wire bottomed cage, for pets or EATing? And you don't even know how to sex them?!? You are irresponsible and clueless as how to care for them. And talking about the economy versus their welfare? You are one of those people who should not be allowed to "care for" animals. You literally repulse me and you should rethink what you are doing. Grrr.

your rabbits look good and healthy. Keep up the good work, I will be getting a pair of American blues in a few weeks, I have the reserved, so when they are ready to leave mom rabbit, they will be moving to my home. I do not know if you are aware of this. The American Rabbit breed is a Hearitage Breed. the are on the top of the list of rear rabbits they were developed for their meat and fur.

Your rabbits are looking wonderful~! I hope to be getting 4 meat rabbits in the next week or so. (Fairs coming up and i hope to buy off some of the breeders there) Ignore the negative comments. Your doing great. There well fed, the mothers healthy, and you've even got them tame! Glad to see a great meat rabbit breeder! ^^

I have kept rabbits for pets in the past. I had an awesome house bunny that was spayed and everything! BUT the way the economy is going it can't hurt to be a little more self sufficient. I am going to start raising Americans in a few weeks. I am very excited!! Thanks for uploading this video.

Love Americans, especially the blues. You will get negative comments for anything you do with rabbits it seems. Rabbits only recently became pets and I guess people forget what they are really meant for! Anyway, I hope you do an update soon since I just found your channel. -bre

I am breeding them for my little girl that is in 4H. the rabbits that don't have a good show look to them get put into the crock pot as the breed was tended for (eating). wire bottom cages is not the bets cage for them all wire cages are the best it keeps them in 24/7

Pets are animals that have a face. I.e. they look at you with both eyes, they see in true 3D. like we do, as cats for example, and are far more intelligent. Rabbits (rodents) on the other hand are prey. They have eyes on sides of the head to see 360 with little head movement to spot predators. So they are food for other species, including us. Btw, on nutritional/health scale rabbits are at the very top. Chicken somewhere in the middle and pork at the very bottom, closest to human flesh. You may recall first pork heart to human transplant that actually worked for couple of months. Stay with seafood, fish, rabbits and vegies my friends.
