Fascism in the Church: Ex-Priest On "The Pope's War," Clergy Abuse and Quelling Liberation Theology
//www.democracynow.org - As Pope Benedict XVI steps down today, we turn to a former Catholic priest who was silenced and expelled by the Pope, then ...
Haha this guy... Liberation theology and the Jesuits.... Of course it was a
threat, Jesuits spreading Marxism and running rampant supporting and
inciting revolution and preaching revolution by murder. I'm sure Jesus
would support that, Vatican 2 is a joke and every pope dating back to 1960
railed against the Jesuits. You call God a female bc mystics in the 1500's
did? You use that as an excuse to promote a clear heresy, yet in the same
breath say that original sin isn't Biblical. Hypocrisy!
+Elizabeth OfYork So that's an excuse for liberalism to invade the Church and to destroy all it's traditions? You seem to forget precisely which idealogy has killed more people by a landslide... Marxism has slaughtered an INFINANT amount more people than Fascism, infinant. Also you shouldn't be making claims like I'm a Fascist because I'm critical of the Jesuits, their subversion of the Church, Liberation Theology, and Marxism, that doesn't make me a Fascist, please display that rationale. The Vatican has become the tool of Satan, there is no denying that, it is a Political machine concerned with Politics and not with it's flock. The Church shouldn't be leading Marxist revolutions by the sword and pistol, or is that too hard to grasp. It has come full circle on the Vatican and the plot to destroy the Church is in full swing and working. You can drone on all you like about who we allied with in WW2, who then became a much bigger enemy than Hitler ever was to us. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, ever hear that one before? Or do you take a seasonal allying with an enemy as an endorsement of their brilliant Marxist plan to execute 60 million of their own people?

Ah yes, blame public sector workers for the state's budget problems instead
of the billionaires who will receive huge contracts from the states as well
as tax breaks for their "investments" in candidates. That was Scott
Walker's plan from the start: divide and conquer. Do you know what happens
when you take money out of the hands of working class people by cutting
their wages? The economy slows down!
I just have to say this to anyone who would vote for Scott Walker: you do
realize that his billionaire donors don't give a fuck about you, your
state, your healthcare, and your financial stability...don't you?
Ok back to the garden. The woman you gave me she ........
Pro Gamers as Pro Atheletes & Loving the Show!
Voicemails on professional video gamers and loving the show. --On the Bonus Show: The Cuban / North Korean missile crisis, An Indiana prison inmate says ...
Wrong, this would be considered a sport within the game community circle.
But in reality, sports should require to use kinetic force to be considered
sports. If things like this were considered actual sports, it would be a
complete slap in the face to every athlete who had to work their ass off to
train their bodies to their physical peak, and who sacrificed everything to
become professional. It all falls into what category of sport, and what is
considered a sport within a particular circle.
I've always thought that the Olympics (since it is the highest form of
athletic competition) was about a blending of cultures to celebrate unity
while having a showcase of how far humanity's physical and mental
capabilities can take us manifested in the form of sports; these are the
greatest feats of dexterity, agility, strength, and determination on the
planet (or something like that). I certainly welcome esports and pro gamers
but I don't think something like LoL should be in the Olympics.
Also - I just ran across a post on Gamasutra by a former cyber athlete who
says that yes, esports are physically demanding and athlete is the right
word. He has also been a track coach for 15 years, and compares gaming to
Olympic shooting, which is a focus sport - except cyberathletes have to
maintain that focus for hours of play during a tournament. As with
shooting, they have to play these games for long exhausting periods to stay
competitive as well. He also brings up medical exhaustion.
I'd definitely consider them athletes. Look at the pro-fighting game
circuit, and see how hard they study the competition, and practice their
strategies and learn their characters, as well as the core ins and outs of
the games, and coping with balance changes and patches. There is A LOT that
goes into being a professional in a game, and they're definitely athletes
for it. Maybe not physical athletes like a basketball player, but
definitely mental athletes, like Chess and Poker players.
I didn't ignore them; they weren't relevant. I'm not going to consider the
dozens of other non-sports. Clearly you're a computer gamer who wants to be
viewed as an athlete because of it. Now THAT'S retarded. There's nothing
wrong with playing compter games, but they don't fit any meaningful
definition of sport and gamers fit no meaningful definiition of athletes.
It's not a matter of conditioning. It's a matter of the words actually
meaning something that computer gaming is not.
If you think billiards players or even bowlers are athletes you can't
consistently argue pro gamers aren't, at least not if you're trying to pass
heavy physical exertion as the criteria. Like so many things among our
idiotic species, this comes down to nothing but prejudice. There's
absolutely nothing more inherently respectable or worthwhile about being
able to throw a ball through a hoop than there is about being good at some
video game. Get over your elitist bullshit.
What about pylon racing, ie racing aeroplanes around pylons. The activity
is exactly the same as gaming, sitting in a seat, using a joystick &
buttons etc. Rowing is no different abstractly, the boat and oars are
controlled by mind to muscles to levers. Muscle types differ in all sports
ie fast twitch / fast reaction times, yet other sports like Boxing use &
train those too. Does what you think stop being a "real" opinion just
because it's a 2D representation on YT?
you're right, there is a massive bias to wards superficiality, but in the
past it was with good reason. The strongest, healthiest malew was the best
provider, and the strongest healthiest female bore the most children. There
were and still are excellent biological reasons to value health and
physical capability oin a mate. But I'm glad the we now live in an age
where intellect is valued. It means I win on both fronts! By the way, keep
your weight even when you ollie!
Nice job ignoring the more relevant examples. Billiards requires minimal
physical exertion, Same with bowling, darts, and other such activities that
no one minds being called sports. The reason people see classifying video
games as sport is not because it's any less "sportlike" than the
aforementioned examples. It's because all sports is equally retarded, but
we've been conditioned to find the traditional ones normal, while anything
new is ridiculed.
Considering just how much time players spend preparing and competing in
tournaments for games like League of Legends, StarCraft 2 or certain
fighting games, it at least demands a form of mental exertion (and quite a
lot of keyboard speed for the former two, since you need to have a LOT of
Actions Per Minute) to keep at it for as long as one does when trying to
viably enter a tournament without getting their ass mutilated three ways
from Sunday.
As a Gamer NO they shouldn't be considered athletes, besides their fingers,
brains, eyes there is no other physical activity. Unless playing DDR It
should only be considered if it's activity involving PHYSICAL EXERTION and
SKILL. Billiards would fall under this. If they wanna lump gaming with
chess fine cause I'll consider them Mental Athletes with mathletics,
spelling bee champions. Wii,Xbox Connect, PS Move would be the only gray
area
