+Douglas Po Ching I bought mine used off craigslist for $350 and it came with a trolling motor and battery. Brand new I think they maybe around $500

Nice little boats! I have the 8'. Got it new at academy for $300 (on sale.) They are very stable, and get up in skinny water. I have a 201 Stratos with a 225 Evinrude, and sometimes I like taking the bass raider more cause it can get really shallow!!

+Johnny Texas I believe it was the 10. I drive a Toyota Tacoma single cab and it fit. Just hung off the back some. As long as your strap it in right it won't go any where.

Thanks Sydney! That makes me feel better. I looked up the 2000 Takoma and it looks like they have less room between the wheel wells so I think we are good. Good luck at Dental School.

Hi Sydney, Thanks for the great video. I just bought one of these for my husband. He has a 2001 Dodge Dakota with 44.7 inches between wheel wells. The specs on this boat say the beam is 49 inches but I was hoping the boat tapers enough at the bottom so it will fit between the wheel wells but I can't find the specs for the bottom width of the boat anywhere. Do you know if it will fit? Lisa

Hello Lisa! Im sure your husband will love this boat! I sold it last year to get money for dental school and its one thing I truly regret. About the truck...I drive a 2000 Toyota Tacoma single cab. The boat would not slide right into my truck. It would sit on top of the wheel wells. I would step in and it would lay down even with the bed but it did dent in my wheel wells. But there should be no problem strapping it down securely with it sitting on top of the wheel wells. A ratchet strap will do the trick!

does yours have the trolling motor easy connector in the front? If so how do you mount one on the back of the boat? Do you have wires everywhere?

No mine did not have the connector but my cousins does. He just mounted the trolling motor on the front and put the battery in the back. There were wires everywhere because the wires ran from the back to the front from inside the boat.
