Here's a mid-tempo take on the Stephen Stills/Buffalo Springfield tune. It's always been one of my favorites - it always seems relevant to the times. That's Lindsey ...
Neil Young - Southern Man
From After The Goldrush (1970) ------------------------------------------- SOUTHERN MAN Southern man better keep your head Don't forget what your good book said ...
+Cheryl Chapman Problem, Bush was born in New England as was his father and his grandfather (who did business with the Nazi's) was New England Old Money.
To the people saying only hippies or older people can fully enjoy and
understand songs like this: please stop, i get you wanna be cool and unique
but fuck off for judging all the generations for your notions of our
ignorance to great music and understanding art. If youre arguing that you
have a better glimpse into the context you may have a point however dont
discredit the thinking minority I wasnt raised on this but I found it
anyway and im from one of the many generations youre quick to dismiss
Stefan Burnett from the band Death Grips spoke about something like this and had a very relevant point, he said:"Never seen without one hundredShe's a satanic priestessAnarchy on ice freak flag flying faceless elitistCrow on the down low endReppin' Orion's beltAtlantis ancient vaginaGetting dusty on the shelfEnter the pigs don't get itNo hands I'm shattering jawsDouble nickles on the dimeFuck glam can lick my ballsCulture shock, future shockFuck yourself, choke yourself"
Fuck all you liberal wanna be hippies. This song stinks. The South is where
Rock And Roll was born....Fact. Now everybody worships niggers. HEIL HITLER
!!
+German Gallantry The South, Rock and Roll, Niggers and Heil Hitler. Wow, do you eat a lot sugar, white flour and drink soft drinks? It is time to sit down, study, and think. I recommend living in a foreign country and learning a foreign language. The world will be a safer place.
The Neil Young ,Ronnie Van Zant Feud was a joke started by Lynyrd Skynyrd
as they penned Sweet Home Alabama. I just found out today as I youtube
searched that topic. Yankees are more clueless about it than southerners
How many dead democrats are still voting thanks to resistance to voter
fraud ,but more importantly as some of my ignorant liberal friends don't
mention, how in the hell does that belong in the Young/VanZant feud which
as I said turned out to be fiction? Type in Neil Young/Ronnie Van Zant feud
in the search bar and see the evidence for your self.
Neil had a unique style of crafting a solo. His stuttering, staccato style
of notes just seemed to thread it's way deeper into the lyrics than a fluid
phrasing style would have. If he phrased his solo work like Tom Scholz the
songs would have been ruined. It stands as a counterpoint to how well he
could carry a song with his fluid strumming rhythm.
this is the best whats up cover ive ever seen! hahahaha great!!

Every day is a NO-Milk day for me. Lactose intolerant, you see? Makes me fart. Hopefully, this cover won't make you blow chow. SOTD for Wednesday, January ...
+George Possley You're welcome - nice guitar too btw. What a wonderful song with an unusual & exhilarating chord sequence, amongst so many by Graham Gouldman.I was prompted to have a look at some of his own versions as well covers while watching a BBC4 doc on 10CC recently - I'd actually forgotten that he was a member of the group.
+javier magallón giménez A ver si te crees que los Caligari lo tocaban bien en directo.Entonces el sonido de la mayoria de ellos en directo era pesimo. Hoy dia suenan mejor hasta los adolescentes, los que TOCAN, claro.
