Glennnnnn, thanks for the offer regards visiting my dad's grave. I only live 30 miles away and I visit a few times per year. My youngest brother works at the Muir Airfield at the Base and he visit often. Dad's two brothers are buried there too. Someday I'll probably be there as well. It's a small, unique National Cemetery ... and very beautiful during all 4 seasons of the year. Dad had 5 sons, we all served in the military, and I'm a Vietnam War veteran, I was in Army Aviation. ... Bill

@Sandsculptor Thanks for your nice comment. I felt a little, well perhaps vary un comfortable making the vid at the time but I sure am glad I made the vid now. Like to pop over to your father's plot next time down and visit n say a few words with him the next time I go down to see my parents. Thanks for your nice words......... Just last night I showed this vid to my inlaws in South America. They speak not a word of English, I just a little more in Spanish than than they speak..... But even with the language difference they all could easly read the tears in my eyes....... Funny, my dad was US Navy but I was US Army, but the feeling is the exact same............... This is a nice video respecting the honorable military service of your father and lifetime caring given by your mother. My dad also served in the US Navy during WW2 in the South Pacific. He died in 1993 and is buried at the Fort Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery. RIP all.

@Sandsculptor I too am a Army Aviation Viet Nam Vet. I was a 41G20, Camera systems on the Mowhawk but NEVER took a foto for the Army even flew in a Mowhawk. I was stationed in Beintuey in the Delta in 1971...

+Nomadic Fanatic If it was noon then it was probably a daily or weekly test of the alarm system.  We had this in my hometown also... only for tornado alarms instead.

+Paul Otis Gotcha. I find it odd and confusing that it is the same exact sound and duration as Tsunami signals on the coast. Really poor planning why they had to use the same sound.

I really like the way you are doing the vids for the trip. I like the sight seeing. Maybe you can slow down the street driving just a small touch? I like the fast forward but had to look away because going too fast through the curves kinda made me car sick. LOL I really like the camera switch though. Good change :)

It's bolted to the bumper. Bolt cutters won't get thru it, so unless they have a power tool, they won't get it before being shot in the head.

That emergency siren goes off in our town every Monday at noon sharp. Same sound but for us here in Oklahoma it's our tornado warning system. If we hear it at anytime other than Monday noon you know there is a tornado in the area.
