guys get over yourselves! its not about politics, not of these groups, though there are some who could be drawn to the arguments for war on either side, the more profound reality is that this is about creating war to manipulate peoples and maneuver the world into a position for global war that will usher in the real goal of all this, supreme global control through global government that will be like the soviet government on steroids, with likely very little if any pretense to democracy. @ciccone39 We lost 400,000+ in World War II.(4 years) 100,000+ in World War I. ( Which we were there for little over a year) 54,000+ in Korea. (3 years) 600,000+ in the Civil War (4 years) Now we lose 4,000 in 7 years. Thats not even rivaled to the suffering that was wrought upon this nation in previous wars. @jbranstetter04 America Isn't leader of the free-world. It pretends to be, and thats why it gets attacked. The whole idea of america being the leader of the world is created by Americans. Well it's always easy to judge yourself and call new titles for your own reputation. And seriously maybe the reason is not freedom but open mindedness. Americans are all cluttered with Christianity, and will not accept the fact that other religions have their own way, and their own translation of a god.

I know you're not a liberal from your comment above. Bush kind of lied to us. He used the WMD thing as an excuse to spread freedom throughout the Middle East in hopes of bring about peace. He knows that the only way to combat their evil ways is with freedom; they hate freedom because it does not go good with their radical closed minded view of Islam. jbranstetter, you are either a fool or a lyer or both. And you obviously have NO knowledge of recent history. The US is in no way interested in freedom or world peace. The US only has geo political interests. Iraq was NOT a radical islamic nation. The fiercely secular Saddam (who the Americans supported and encouraged when he invaded Iran) did not tolerate radical Islam.

The radical Muslims hate us because we are trying to bring freedom to the world, and freedom and their version of Islam do not go together. It is as simple as that. And that is exactly why we invaded Iraq, to give them freedom, and to spread freedom throughout the region in hopes that it would contribute to peace in the region.

I think that's the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps. They're a ceremonial band, so that's why they have wigs on; that was how they were back in the 1700's. I think your judges still where wigs, and the guy who sits up above the MP's has one on too. (I saw it on C-SPAN)
