John Denver Is The Flower That Shattered The Stone
A small video I have made in honor of the one the world knows and loves as John Denver. Today was seen as his untimely death, but there are those who also ...
After all these years I still miss John Denver. I had the wonderful
opportunity to meet him one time and still have his autograph. I hope to
met him again in the afterlife. The Flower That Shatters the Stone is my
favorite John Denver song.
I am so touched by this video..you have tryly captured John's essence and
being in every part of this video. The quote at the end...did John say that
at some point. It just sounds familiar and appropriate?
I love this song I never heard it till now and have replyed it 4 times and
will many more want to have it as a cassete or CD where can I fine it what
Alblum was it on please let me know some one
Beautiful video - from where is the quote? I live shots of John are
excellent - what videos were they from, I'd love to watch them all! Thank
you for taking your time to honor this wonderful man.
John Denver Time and Again Tribute 1997 "Annie's Song"(1995)
Time and Again, a program on MSNBC, aired a tribute to John after his death. Here in clips, are the past performances from the Today Show that they showed on ...
He actually wore them off and on, alternating with contacts. I had heard that he didn't intend to wear them for this interview, but he had forgotten he had them on.
He WAS singing better than ever, and was well-positioned for something of a
revival when he died. A real shame... but, on a more positive note, it's
great to see this song sound so good on a six string (as opposed to its
usual twelve) with no accompanying instrumentation. Talent.
Thank you very much for your comment. Have a wonderful night! :)
John Denver Coverage on Extra
Coverage from the television program 'Extra' shortly after John's Death. Sorry for the VHS tracking line at the bottom of the screen. I couldn't remove it.
Part 1 of a tribute to JD on the 11th anniversary of his death. Broadcast on my VOX FM Wollongong Australia breakfast radio show Tuesday October 14th 2008.
I have missed you, John. You were so much a part of the joy I found from
your words. Even the sad times, you sang those special songs when you were
going through heartaches. You touched so many lives and helped us. A very
special, talented man. There is a void here on earth when you was taken
from us. I hope you are flying with the eagles.
I still mourn for him. He has a special place in the hearts of all of us
who loved him. A year ago I was walking around Hinckley Lake in
Northeastern Ohio and listening to JD on my ipod. For the first time ever I
spotted an Eagle flying over the lake. I felt a shiver up my spine but my
heart warmed. Thanks for this tribute to a great man.
It's absolutely disgusting that after all JD did for Aspen and the state of
Colorado, that the people of Aspen turned their backs on him!!Yes, he had
DWI several times..he STILL changed the world..the people of Aspen should
be ashamed!! "Let he who casts the first stone"....
Dave, what a wonderful tribute to John. You have a wonderful talent of
putting the right video with each song. Everything is so beautiful. Great
job!!!!!!! I miss him on this 12th anniversary.
