+daeljuma The diverence is that you agreed in the contract with the bank (or whatever company loaned you the money) that the bank and it representatives (in this case the repo agent) is allowed to use these tactics. So from a legal perspective it is a completely different thing.

+Kilo Byte It's even worse than that. She still owes them the money on the loan. They take the collateral and sell it and apply the proceeds to the loan. With each hit she is reducing the value of the truck and increasing how much she still owes the bank.

+Kilo Byte That's exactly right KB. In 2007 I had a similar situation that you described. I knew I couldn't afford the payments so I called the repo company, gave them the address where it was parked and told them the keys were under the mat.

Not everybody who has financial difficulties are deadbeats. Unforseen circumstances happen in peoples lifes. Medical problems, divorce, job loss. Peoples jobs get outsourced. i dont care how much money you have now. Have you ever struggled at any point in your life financially?I bet you have at some point. Dont judge other people like that. Are some of these people chronic deadbeats? Probably yes.

She's 67, why would she be a tech genius? I would guess that most over 65's are at a very similar tech level. Despite being a techy person myself, it wouldn't make me want to vote for her any less if I lived in the states and had a vote there.

If she's a person with such a position of power and responsibility, she should have at least a basic understanding of the technology she's using day to day, unless she wants to perform policy gaffs like David Cameron banning encryption or perhaps holding state secrets in a private email server.

+Alien Or Sutin It clearly means that age does not restrict how well you use technology since Bernie is older and has no technology related scandals or slip-ups (or no scandals whatsoever). Between two candidates that are pretty similar on their political positions why choose the one that has a list of scandals and who flip-flops on her positions, over the candidate that has a consistent voting record and 0 scandals.
