Undocumented and Unafraid
A short documentary directed by Daniel Dalonzo on behalf of Rutgers University. It tells the story of 3 undocumented students from New Jersey as they struggle ...
the racism is sad sad sad...im a dreamer, i was brought here as a child, we
ran away from abuse and violence. i got my permit and my social security,
now im joining the military and my recruiter couldn't be any happier for
me. he was telling me how so many BORN Americans waste their life and take
their lives for granted, how some even get a DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE. im
here to serve the country that i love, im here to serve THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE
IN IT LIKE @wilcarr1 WHO JUST WANT TO SEE MY PEOPLE LEAVE. us dreamers are
american by heart, and mexicans by blood, and pride for both. you can cry
all you want but the movement is happening and i'am the one you hate...but
protects you.
+stephen arellano You telling me you never laid your hands on some one, like a school fight . Never drank under age , never smoked marijuana? maybe a cig as a 16 year old.You have been a perfect civilian your self and followed the law? Because it was a crime for a toddler to come to this country and join the military years later and work as hard as anyone else....but you never broke any laws? because the law is the law no matter big or small and If you ever did any of that you are as much as a criminal as me.
+Sayda Martinez Thank you for serving YOUR country and mine.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow - A PSALM OF LIFE - poem

@PrinceOfLogic Hi, this was recorded Pre -internet days (1996 ) - so the
version we read from may differ from the version you have . Sometimes poems
change from publishers to publishers - and in those days it was harder to
research the correct version - So in my defense... there is a version with
these words out on publication. So thats why we did it -
Footsteps/footprints is an example of the changes. Hope this helps explain
the mystery
You did a wonderful job of reading this. I am drunk, angry and ready to
strike. A lovely rendition that may make me sleep a few hours and renew
myself. Excellent. You really do know what the poem is about and the
certainty and passion with which you read it is fabulous. The poet is an
entirely different being. Neither of the present or the past, not even of
the moment. The poet is outside of time and dares time to caputer him or
her.
i had this poem for my exams & while studying it i created the new-age
internet version heres the first para- A Psalm Of Virtual Life Text me not,
in mournful messages, Second Life is but graphically obsolete! For the
avatar is dead that is logged off, And the settings are not what they seem.

Thank you very much, it is almost grotesque in a way. However I thought the
metaphors were obsolete as I had heard one before, and they had little
description. However, I thought it was very inspirational.
It is thought provoking and holds good for every one and all time.
Interestingly, it was in my curriculum for English language at 10th
standard. Thanks for making available audio rendition
