What a great shop! There was nothing like that when I was in England. One shop...lovely shop, but tiny so they couldn't carry such a vast array of goods! Of course, it was the Isle of Wight, so perhaps the mainland had more available. I had to come back to the states just to get stocked up!!!

The most educated response would be to say that this video really only shows half of the picture. It is most fair to say there are both positives and negatives (as this video exclusively highlights) brought about by WalMart's growth. If you want almost completely positive spin on the other hand, you'd likely find that at WalMart's corporate website. Again, Walmart is not evil AND this video maker is not completely wrong. Both are just telling half of the story.

@Kharlamini I agree that no one should work for a company like this that takes money from local economies .Alot of people have to take whatever job they can get and have to put up with it and a company like walmart will thrive on that. I've seen how they run and talk to their employees and they run it like a military supply operation. Those people dont get the pay or benefits that should accompany that kind of treatment to atleast make it somewhat worth it.

Listen to the comment at 1:50. "The system was designed to keep the goods flowing." IT'S A RETAIL STORE! How should the "system" have been designed? To move little or no product and operate at a loss? Class envy has been alive and well since the dawn of time. All of those interviewed are FORMER Walmart employees. If they felt so truly convicted to SAVE THE WORLD from Walmart, they'd have flapped thier gums BEFORE the documentary. Hypocrites!

@buhtailo It might seem silly if you are thinking about wars and people dying, but what about family business owners that are suddenly out of a job? A 2 income family might become a one income. Imagine whatever you go to school for or want to (or already do) for a living is suddenly gone, you have no more security, what if you lose your house or other things?

I don't shop there for several reasons, the more selfish one is their products really arent less than other competitors retail or online. That and they were always out common products, the huge parking lots, wasted time hiking in and out, and the guilt I felt while their supporting a company that refuses to support its employees or community.

I DONT SHOP THERE! I HATE WALMART. I DON'T WORK THERE NOW OR EVER. I THINK WALMART SUCKS. If your in a hurry for pots and pans and blankets then maybe. They are just a middle man. All companies should have to provide health insurance, period. That includes foreign companies that come over here. It is fair for all.

I've read that the LW set has had problems. 1st batch had Swordfish in place of LW2. The 2nd batch fixed that, but LW1 was still the old 2006 disc.
