I read on a forum that the 1235X is good on salt water beach sand. Can you
substantiate this?

It was a total shock. This field has been reworked to make the soccer field like 20 years ago so I could have come in with a load of fill... But I'll take it. Thanks JJ.

The 1235x is a good machine I sold my back in 2000 and bought a CZ7A pro,
Wish I had kept it also. but my CZ is very good at finding gold rings, even
chain.

I have a 1235X, almost brand new. Updated it last year to a custom carbon
fiber straight shaft, huge difference. Love it.

Nice Work! Maybe I should try something like this with my Whites Coinmaster
6000/D G.E.B. If I pull a 1978 penny, I may be able to get what I paid for
it. It was also an eBay item. Good job! My normal detector is a Minelab
Xterra 305. Much nicer on the shoulder. Good Luck!

I may have replied in Google+. I use a tablet most times. Which sucks because the YouTube app will not let you reply separately to comments. They make you use a computer for that.

For some reason all your comments have been missing the "Reply" button when in the comment section of my vids, I found that in "COMMUNITY" (here) there is a "Reply" button so I'm replying...better late than never I 'spose... thanks.

thanks, I'm asking $200 or best offer. I've seen this machine sell on ebay (when you can find them) and they go for anywhere from $175 with major wear, to $300 in pristine condition. This one looks better in person and the photo I used is just a generic one from google images. Same coil but the one in the pic has the "1235-X" on the face plate where mine says "Fisher M Scope". It's from when Fisher was not with Texas First and still in Cali not Texas.
