My Wrangler X I brought, came with a 3 inch lift and 33s. I'm thinking about redoing the lift because it's an 05 and I'm figuring it probably needs it or at least needs some parts of it replaced. But thanks, for taking the confusion out of lifts for me.

Right on! Good job! A simple reason as to why you would want to lift your JEEP. I'm installing a Rough County 2.5" on my 2002 Wrangler X...just enough to give her a little more clearance. The kit includes shocks and springs and allows the running of OEM wheels and/or tires. The 2002 X will allow up to 31's but you will be rubbing all day long in stock trim. I don't do any rock crawling or insane off-roading and the Jeep has done just fine so far out here in the deserts of Arizona.

cool video.....I have a 2 inch budget lift and a 1 in body lift...on my 99 tj....that's good enough for me does not look as cool as a 5 or 6 in lift but it is a lot safer to drive..it can still do a lot of neat things.....

This would be a much better comparison if it was a 4 runner vs a cherokee. Then you're comparing SUV to SUV. The wrangler is an SUV, but barely. It's built for off-roading, not hauling boats or kids or lumber. The Tacoma is a truck, compare it to another truck. Been in a Tacoma, they certainly are pretty nice and pretty capable little trucks. But if you're thinking about a Wrangler.... it's not about comparisons, it's about a lifestyle. Noisy, expensive, bare bones, uncomfortable... but take the top off, hit a washed out trail, go explore and watch it shine. To each their own! Oh-- Wranglers are also the least expensive car to ensure //www.forbes.com/sites/jimgorzelany/2014/02/24/the-cheapest-2014-cars-to-insure/

Biased as hell u work at a Toyota dealer. My dad has a 04 Tacoma with over 250,000 miles and still no problems but jeeps are just as reliable it all goes down to what u want a truck or a jeep there different in my opinion there is no way a Tacoma can take the jeeps spot as a all terrain capable vehicle. Also the jeep is a awsome truck because it has a standard transmission I know the Tacoma is also but for a 4 door it's almost impossible to find 1. Also jeeps hold there value allot better

I'm a 2013 JKU Rubicon owner and currently looking at the 2014 Toyota Tacoma. You have a few good points but do you know that Jeep is not a full-time 4x4 system? You can switch from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive on a fly up to 90km/h. It also have Bluetooth connectivity. Just want to share that.

the newer Tacomas are made like garbage. just look at the reviews on Edmunds and CarComplaints. Tacomas from the early-mid 2000's were great. i'd take a Wrangler Unlimited any day over a garbage 2014 Tacoma

with the stock bumper there are four holes on the bottom i plugged with screws therefore converting the factory bumper into a 7.5 gallon tank

Wow ............ You work at a dealership and cant get someone to help you explain the difference ? That piece you are touching on the first Jeep is not the differential , It is the electronic "anti" sway bar disconnect (activated inside the jeep ) ..........The Rubicon , also has Lockers in both axles ( front and rear ) activated by a switch inside the jeep .........The Rubicon , also has a 4 to 1 transfercase , vs the 2.72 to 1 in the other models ..... Other differences include , a 1-2" lift over the other versions , and 32" tires vs the 29-30" tires on the others ................. You can also get a Rubi with a winch ready front bumper, and a steal rear bumper ........................... Please edit this video and use the correct info ..............

Toyota FJ cruiser. a lot much better then Jeep. and the best different is the vehicle speed. the FJ more than 120 M/H. but Jeep is 100 M/H. Shame on Jeep.

+JeepVideoGuy I have an arb air compressor with front and rear diff locks and the battery is 780cca 75 Amp/hour low profile battery. I think it is e44. The weather is pretty bad here at the moment. I'm hoping to do a video this week if the weather improves.
