+Yiannis Stravolaimos What's funny is that someone could almost think you actually believe this story. 1) Takes off in September 1945 from a country that has no operational airfields due to allied bombing with a passenger capacity 3 times the payload of aircraft of that period. 2) In Sept 1945, there were no trans-Atlantic flights due to a small dust-up called World War II. 3) The magnetic anomaly you are suggesting would have destroyed the unshielded wiring and navigation equipment of that period not to mention what it would do to the aircraft's engines. 4) NASA does not report a major solar event in 1980, even though they have been monitoring solar via x-ray since the 1970's. Same with the aurora borealis. 5) The Stephen King mini-series, "The Langoliers" was an atrocious film and involved only a small number of people. This hoax is probably nothing more than a takeoff on the silliness of that series/novel.
