+Tim Murphy and the study you researched is flawed. Liberal according to the study is defined as those concerned with the world at large. Conservative is defined as people concerned with only their peer group or family.

+Gerard Man The fact is, Americans who identify as highly conservative average an IQ of ten points lower than those who identify as highly liberal. I'm not a fan of the liberals, but it is no secret that they are much more intelligent than conservatives. In fact, the only thing I loathe more than liberals are conservatives. I see my conservative friends post biased articles on social media on a regular basis. They never care to fact check before they post. Don't forget that, whether it's 50k or 100k, that's for only working 8 months out of the year.

+Tim Murphy I haven't seen DC, but in Portland, Oregon teachers can make up to 80k per year. It's strange, though, because the pay scale is based on the instructor's education, rather than their teaching quality.

D.C. schools is where teachers can make $100,000 yr that is where I saw  their salaries at. go there. You will be living large.

Like I said, have your spouse go to Chicago's south side schools and get $25,000 more in salary.  If all you want is money for nothing and your checks for free. 

+NMA-T My wife is on her 8th year. Though, just asking her, even her Co workers who have been teaching for 15 years do not make anywhere near $100,000. My wife makes $56,500.

+Tim Murphy Must be a newer teacher.  I  also worked in a unionized public school, quite a few teachers over 10 years were making 6 figures.  tell your spouse to go work in Chicago's south side they make a minimum of $75,000.  That would be $25,000 more than the spouse is making now.  Groovy
