Quick RV Repair on a Rotted Wall...1999 Fleetwood Wilderness 33' Fifth Wheel recreational vehicle. This is NOT a how-to video on fixin' RV's, but a ...
Nice job. I needed to see this done if for nothing more than to see what
is under the wallboard in an RV. I doubt it is much different than what I
saw in your video. We have a bedroom that was being flooded by our shower
drain for 2 months and didn't discover it until mold began growing on the
walls and carpet. Big job, but glad to know it might come out looking as
good as what you accomplished here.
+catschreifels62 If you own it, then anything you do will be fine...just make sure to use bleach and water on the mold to kill it before working on anything.
Thank you for showing this type of work is possible!! I have a model 37k
year 99 37ft Mallard with a queen size bed between a set of full length
closets...the right side closet has the leak. My late husband patched the
leak with a buddy in a weekend but under the influence of
Budweiser....needless to say I still have a damp closet wall...so it is
still leaking.. Is it possible to fix the leak but also remove the one
closet on the right side completely? This will allow a larger area to work
with bit also I can use a bigger mattress a possible king size...??
+jayman4x4 You get ZERO STARS for a comment that does not use common sense. So, let us look at this from a common sense perspective. At the beginning of the video it states "This is not a how to video".At this point, common sense will tell you not to expect a "How To" video. This is a very good video for a lot of folks, hence all the comments from our peers sating as much. (read some of the comments)Negative comments such as yours are not welcome on any of my videos.Constructive criticism using logic, common sense, facts, and such are welcome anytime. I welcome that dialogue as long as the person making the comment has actually watched the video and finds fault.
this is great work.... i just bought a 1989 fleetwood wildnerness 34foot
and it needs work. good thing my husband is handy.... my floor needs to be
repaired and it has a leak in the bedroom area...well that i know of..but i
paid 500 buck for it. and your video helped me. thanks
question.....is there a way to save cabinets? i ask because my caught my husband was ripping them out the wall. He said they are glued on the wall and to replace the wall in the bedroom they come apart as he removed them... but they looked good.. so i'm a little torn.. i was really trying to reuse most of the cabinets. there most be a way to remove them without ruining them. right? remember we are newbies at this.
