Vegetarian? We still stuck on this? Bhgat Ravidass ji was a leather tanner. So he worked with dead animals and made shoes. Now as a chamar his diet would have consisted of meat but did guru Arjun dev ji exclude him? No! Do we not have animal skins on tableh? Why are they permitted? Come on sikh panth get a grip. Move on learn your true history not the one that was dictated by British Raj. But the one that was designed to give khalsa raj.

Guru advised us to leave everything behind and concentrate on GOD which is POWER working everywhere including you in Universe. But people still foolish who wasting their time and so human birth relating GOD to food, holy days, festivals, idols, natural powers etc.

Pofesor saab please tell us if the use of word "Maas" in Gurbaani justifies eating Meat, Then applying the same funda, "Kinhi banjeya Kaansi Taamba, Kinhi Lonng Supaari" We as sikhs have got the permission to consume Supari as well??

So is he saying that eating meat is ok for an Amrit Dhari. Does Prof ji eat meat? The reyat marada for Sikhs is that only jhatka is allowed, and who is going to find meat killed through this method?

If u don't want to eat who is forcing to do so.I my self do not eat. u say that maryada allows jhatka ( is that not meat ) who want to eat , it is up to him/her to ensure whether it is jhatka or not.
