If you're referring the Cathedral bit, it's volume swells and a bit of echo to get that violin sound. I know exactly how he does it, have practiced it, and STILL can't play it for crap. His timing has to be inhuman to pull it off.

I like this solo better then the one in Live Without a Net Electric drums have there place I guess, but nothing beats real drums

I was there for the 2nd night of the two night taping. i camped outside to get tickets in Visalia. Pizza and beer runs all night. Finally dawn came and at 10 am the ticket window opened. Totaly worth it. It was the 2nd time ever i had seen my fav band and this time it was in my home town of Fresno. What you don't see here is that the opening song for the 2nd night was PoundCake. And Selland arena is a seriously old POS building for concerts. So here's Eddie with the drill going for Pouncake and suddenly the amps lost power for a few seconds,around 5 i guess. Ed looked over at Sam and was like WTF... then the sound came back. Pretty funny stuff,the band kept it together like pros and gave us a great gig that night. Long live the greatest band in the world. \m/
