Amazing courage in many ways! The VA Medical System and the Department of Veteran's Affairs is a very corrupt entity on many levels. Currently I to am trying to get someone out of a facility who has been there a year against his will. Over 40 agencies know about this and not one will acknowledge it. It is a horrible situation.

South Carolina, as in Governor Nicki Haley (R-SC) South Carolina? Every Republican State Governor in America is a GOP/Tea Partier, who views non-1% veterans as ''dead weight.'' This is disturbing, yet, does not surprise me...This may or may not be happening to Michigan veterans at the VA Hospital I go to every week for different reasons...

I've had a few ''horror stories'' about VA Hospital experiences. Long after certain bored VA cops have been kicked off the force for overdoing their jobs, I'll still be going to the bank every quarter. As for that nice lady, who gives out free plastic bottles of water, perhaps, the government should pay her $.10 for every bottle she hands out...Just saying.
