I used to live in Newham ie Stratford, Forest Gate & Custom House until 1993 when I got a Mortgage in Romford. I hated and feared living there but in the last 20 years or so Newham has been transformed from a 3rd World borough into a Internationally recognised place. If you don't believe me go to the Olympic Park or Westfield Shopping Centre where people from all over London go to just to be seen and "Be Coo!" Newham is far from perfect but it is a lot better then it used to be and it is because of intelligent people like Sir Robin. As for this interview it looks like a cheap set-up by a national newspaper which has too much time on it's hands!

A modern day ethnic cleansing taking place London bough of Newham . to my surprise I have attended a meeting at the (Newham people alliance) and thought I check out re the dictatorship in action. It a total 100% Labour run not a single councillor who is other then a labour party. So its no wanders everyone in Newham being ruled over by a single ( Mayor Sir Robin ) everyone please look in new labour is gone totally astray from the track at least in Newham. The one party rule by (new labour)

Olympic Stratford borders Forest Gate where Newham Council has just tried to build c1,000 homes NONE OF THEM AFFORDABLE. The developers met in secret with the Council over several years to then tell local people there was "no demand" for affordable housing in Newham. Perhaps a little puzzling to hear Newham Mayor Robin Wales, a resident of Forest Gate, explaining to the BBC Today programme that poor local people will have to be shipped north?

That is such a worrying thing for me as a father, not having secure tenancy. Think of children being uprooted from school and moved into a new area and having no stability as a family. i was one of the fortunate few to have got a job in westfield stratford city through the mayor of newhams scheme to create jobs for local people from the olympics. i have yet to see if it will be a lasting career.

people will still blindly vote for him in Newham so he can do what he wants imagine in a swing seats this wouldn't happened becaues you would be out on your ear
