I have volunteered with a group called Project Chance locally to help bring awareness to domestic and child abuse, stuck to my new gym schedule, continued to listen to positive affirmation podcasts and videos and practiced my patience while driving (trying to cut down on my FUCKING road rage because everyone but me drives like shit.)

Trying to make a difference from my lazy attitude to most things, I'm needing the motivation to just stop being an asshat and do it already. Honestly this was a wake up call, thanks Epic.

In order to stop wallowing in my own sorrow to my friends, I tried to get the number of the very first girl I saw that I found mildly attractive. I set it up, asked, and I got rejected. While I got rejected, I have had a major self-confidence boost, and I've been in a much better mood and a lot more willing to communicate with people. I worked on building better friend ships. Also worked on getting experience and practice for what I want to do for work.

The mind is a powerful thing, use it to your advantage, don't let others use it to your disadvantage. Many fears or prejudice can be overcome by practice, guidance and good use of brain power. Convince yourself that the water isn't horribly cold, stimulate your body to feel warmth, focus on your heartrate and pulse, you will feel much better. At least that's what I've experienced. I haven't been taken cold showers on a regular basis, but the times I do, I do feel ... exilerated, I feel motivated to work on what I want to achieve. If I can convince myself that the cold isn't as cold as I first imagined, I can do other things as well! (Hope this makes sense, I sound a little like a lunatic after reading a second time, haha)

I started the cold showers a couple of days ago, kind of on a whim, maybe with a little idea that it might help some things that need help . . . I'm still in a transition phase, but am really digging it, so far! Actually, not waiting for the water to make steam was enough of a shock, so I start each shower with lukewarm water and gradually turn it down until it feels like I got punched in the chest. Each morning I start it a little colder than the day before, and while it still takes my breath, I am starting to enjoy it. Soon, start cold & end cold. My brother. This is the first time I have ever commentated on a video. As of 12/07/15 will be my one year anniversary of cold showers. It has changed my life. Those of you out there who have not tried it, try it. challenge yourself to real life, you come out warmer than a hot shower and feel alive. nice, try it.
