I find upgrading the car and coming back to the races helps alot. Defiantly try messing with your springs and sway bars, stiffer for both is better for drifting, turning off drift assistance helps a lot too, keep the braking drifting assist on though. keep a semi strong hand brake like 2 or 3 dots from the middle to the grip side.
