yeah the wedge is a type of backwards hydro foil insted of directing pressure below the foil pushing it up it directs pressure down sucking the hull of the boat down and at the same time shaping the wake to have more pop at the edgeof the top of the wake itself.

I bought a 16 ft lowe with a 40 Johnson in 1990. I did it for one basic reason. Money. The boating industry is completely insane. Who in their right mind would put huge dollars into a rig and buy aluminum? People that ignorant, shouldn't be allowed on the lake, let alone manage their own finances.
