I will bet that in 5 years driverless cars will be everywhere. There are pros and cons though. I mean I would love to get hammered drunk and tell my car to drive me home.... on the other hand I don't want google knowing where I am or went 24/7.... decisions decisions.

Each car has a communications radius. If there are several cars it is easy for the cars to communicate with each other to avoid accidents. For example if car #1 had a wifi radius of half a kilometre any other car within that radius of car#1 would have a direct communications link too car 1. (Enter car #2) if car number two and car number one are in wifi and or wireless communications radius of each other if car#1 were to malfunction car 2 would respond accordingly to the issue. Imagine all cars on the streets were self driving, imagine the cooperation between the chemicals would be amazing and safe. Humans are allot worse of drivers than computers by a long haul. I don't know if anyone understood what I just said but in short, computer driven cars are a good thing not bad.

I understand but this seems unfair to those who enjoy the right to manually operate a vehicle. Switching to the other type of operations would only work if all cars were self driven... So he would like to kill the tradition of American muscle cars, working on them and driving yourself in another decade? Maybe safer.. But also selfish..
