@3bulletproof16 the downtown Stadium is the better idea. Downtown has much
better public transportation, and it will continue the economical growth of
Los Angeles. The DT stadium will be used just about year around with it's
retractable roof. i can only imagine the traffic horror on the 60 fwy
getting to industry. The stadium being built should be built with more than
football in mind. With a roof the stadium can hold more than just football.
which means more money. It just makes business sense.
@drewtheripper Funny how AEG first said their 70,000seat retractable roof
stadium (what stadium needs a damn roof in Cali) would cost under $750 Mill
(clearly to make it seem cheaper than Roski's $800 Mill strategically
designed stadium) Now AEG stated their's will be a little over a Billion.
Its a 30acre site! How the hell are you going to move a mass of 70,000
people off a 30acre site? AEG designed that stadium without the fans,
without people in mind.
@3bulletproof16 The casual fan doesn't take all these things into account.
But the stadium needs to be more than just football. In order to increase
the investors return on its investment the stadium needs to be functioning
year around. Industry is to far away with nothing near by to hold the
people there to have an economical impact. DT LA is exploding with new
night life and great restaurants.
@3bulletproof16 I am in favor of less parking space. Less parking space
would mean less tailgating. Tailgating in LA is just dangerous. Drunken
gangsters causing trouble to other fans doesn't make up for a good family
environment. Plus less parking would force people into taking the subway,
metro rail, or metrolink which is far better for the environment then
driving to the stadium in a car.

@drewtheripper See this stadium looks like it belongs there. Beautiful view
of Mt. Baldy. 600 acres and 25,000 onsite parking spaces for tailgating.
AEG's 3 final designs look completly SQUARED out... No outside the BOX
thinking. Its like Space Ship @ Soldier Field ten fold...
Hey everyone thanks for actively discussing this! We are working hard
behind the scenes to get the stadium rolling. We are all approved and are
hoping to get to construction sometime after the superbowl. Thanks for your
support!
