42 isn't as good. I recommend Optifine, I do have a good computer (Without any settings or anything I get 70 FPS) But getting Optifine and changing settings actually bumped my FPS up alot! I used to get 70-90 FPS (I know that is good) but now I get 160-250 FPS! I recommend searching "How to get better FPS on minecraft on other videos. It will really bump up your FPS.

+Gregg Acuff I'm pretty sure 42 frames is just fine.Look at me, I only get 20 at best and I repeatedly get HUGE lag spikes (About one every 5 seconds, no joke) so you're pretty lucky.And I don't have a single mod installed.

Thanks so much! Here is a tip. Instead of 1024m, press the apple icon in the top corner and press about this Mac. It will show you how many Gigabytes of ram your computer has. Allow minecraft to use half of it. Ex. My computer has 16 gigs of ram. I allowed minecraft to use 8 of it. BTW awesome vid! Helped me a lot!

Go in settings and click java then click java in the upper bar. Then click the empty runtime parameters and place the code there. It worked me and it should work for you. Hope this helps! :)
