FSX- Aerosoft A319 - Gatwick/Bordeaux EGKK/LFBD - Part 1
I have just been accepted into BA Virtual, so to mark the occasion, I did a A319 flight from Gatwick to Bordeaux. The video is in two parts Links ========== BA ...
Nice video so far - working my way through it in-between interruptions from
the missus ;-) I think the answer to the passenger loading problem is
that the real-world 319 can be set up with varying passenger
configurations, depending on the needs of the particular airline. BA have
two passenger configurations for the 319 - one is for the native domestic
fleet of 319s (pax load 132) and the other is for the 319s that it
inherited from BMI (pax load 144) ... and it seems that the Aerosoft model
uses yet another configuration, judging by the figure you mention in the
video. I'm guessing that Aerosoft won't be making different models of the
319 to cover all these different figures for passenger loads, so we'll have
to work with the particular configuration that they've settled on (maybe
the FsLabs version will be flixible in this respect when it eventually
appears?). Incidentally, just in case it appears I'm some sort of guru on
319 passenger configurations - I'm not. I simply lifted the above from a
thread on the BAV Forums; it's the last post by Nicholas Yates in the
thread "Project Airbus A320 - Payloads?" on page 5 of the Airbus Forums at
BAV .... .... I was going to post a link to the thread but I'm not certain
what BAV's feelings are on links to internal 'stuff' being posted where
non-members can see them. However, as a member, you'll be able to find it
on the Forums easily enough. Anyway, back to watching your excellent video
- wife permitting! ;-)
Brian, glad you like it man thanks. That is a very good explanation Brian thanks for that. I guessed you right about Aerosoft making different models etc. I will also take a look at the forums too. Thanks again.
