My grandmothers 2006 Nissan Altima does that too, hers is the 4 cylinder,
but their local Nissan dealership (who she bought car from brand new too)
say to open the gas cap, then start it, put the cap back on and go on your
way. My moms 2002 Nissan Sentra did the same exact thing, and hers had the
2.5L 4 cylinder that goes in the Altima. Must be that specific engine with
a fuel issue. Or air flow issue.
