Lancia Stratos HF pure sound!!

Gijs records an extremely rare Lancia Stratos HF at the entrance of the Nürburgring in Germany. I'm sorry for the bad filming, but this car totally surprised me.

@SoldatoJoker91 Questa Stratos è una ricostruzione con molte parti originali il telaio non è un HAWK, Napier / Corse o Trasformatore Kit-Car. Si tratta di una replica fatta a mano, di questa AllORA Stratos sono fatte solo 14 pezzi negli anni '80 e il motore e un 3,0 V6. Saluti Enzo.

@SoldatoJoker91 lo scrivo in inglese per gli altri! this Stratos is an rebuild with many Original parts the chassis is not a Hawk, Napier / Corse or Transformer Kit-car. It's an Allora handmade replica only 14 piece in the 80´s and the engine thats guess right 3,0 V6. Saluti Enzo.

@st939 I always found that engine noise is highly misleading, but I never had the ear for it... But even as a replica it is a fabulous car, although not my favourite of the time. I prefer the blue Alpines, even if their weight balance was all wrong.

@st939 The engines were completely outdated at the time, yet Renault kept them in production well into the 80's. But the car was ultra light and the suspensions designed well enough that geniuses could still do amazing things with it.

Op Spa Francorchamps heb ik er ook eentje gezien, toen heb ik er eigenlijk weinig aandacht aan besteed. Maar eigenlijk zijn ze best zeldzaam. Het geluid is ook erg vet!

Lancia chassis plus Ferrari engine equals FAIL, and the new Stratos has fugly fixed headlights... -.- I want the old school Stratos with pop-up lights please!!

Epic fail. You can tell its a kit car by the fact that it is right hand drive and you can hear the cheap V6 Alfa engine NOT the 190hp Ferrari V6!

That is a replica with modern Alfa Romeo (injected!!!) engine. I see no Lancia Stratos in the video.

DIRT Rally EA v03.2 - Lancia Stratos at Dyffryn Afon Reverse on Overcast Afternoon - 2nd Place

This was one of my better races in the Lancia Stratos. The car is great fun! But it's hard to compete with the PC times, takes a lot of work to go fast, but it's worth it!
