Barry OFarrell has just cut the budget by $70 million dollars for NSW Fire Rescue Service. At the same time he has increased his own budget by $29 million for more media campaigns and functions. Fire Rescue Management informed staff that stations will shortly close to cover staff shortages. So please don`t blame fire fighters when more people start dying in house fires, car accidents and other rescue situations. Blame those responsible, Barry OFarrell and his Liberal government.

@m166100 That's true, but in movies, every car fire results in a huge fireball. Tires explode from the release of the compressed air and mag wheels produce a burst of sparks. Gas tanks don't explode. Nothing like Hollywood.
