54% White, 18% Asian American, 18% Hispanic, 5% African American, 1% Native
American, and 4% international. Only 4% of UT's campus is from
out-of-state, some would call that dismal. Other state schools fare better.
UT also has an average percentage of poor students. UT is also a 4/5 stars
school on the LGBT-Friendly campus climate index. Acceptance is not
measurable and is questionable.
I suggest most students avoid UT Austin. What is the deal with the
community watch groups and bigotry against minorities there? Looks like a
college for losers to me.
