+TheScapeMine I get them made at DFRobot, I'm planning on finding somewhere as they take around 2 weeks to come and then there's the manufacturing time on top of that which is 5 days. I haven't had much look with them either I've had 3 orders from them now and 2 of them have come back with mistakes on them, it took me a while to prove to customer services that my gerber files were fine. When I finally did all I got was compensation and not new boards.
+TheScapeMine It's the DS1305, I haven't had any trouble interfacing with the chip, it uses SPI and 2 interrupt lines for the alarms. It also has a nice battery configuration system from what I can remember. :)
Amazing project! I'm trying to do a DIY smartwatch with arduino pro mini as
well. What color screen is that? And how many mah do you batteries have? Im
using a 400mah 3.7v
Keep up the good work!
+Marcos Soares Oh that ones a full colour screen, its one inch diagonal. It lasts for a fairly long time, as it uses literally no power while in standby, but you can get about 3 and a half hours out of it while the screen is on
+willz1200 I was referring to the screen in the end of the video with the blue and purple squares, is it a 1.8" TFT?The battery is only 140mAh? How long does it last approximately.
Oh sweet, what sort of screen are you using? Its a light blue oled screen, and the battery is 140 mAh. See the description for more specs and a picture of the screen focused :) Thanks for the support!
Project Smart Pill Box

Maybe. This is a real problem though. I'd rather think of a smart pill
*box*. The box would alert you when it's time to take the pill and blink
the compartment containing the pill you have to take. It may have a LCD
screen as well to give information. This would need some kind of sensor to
verify the person takes the pill.
For the rare people really interested about what she is saying and
appreciate her for her work and intelligence, the link at the end of the
video is: .../wiki/FaceDetection I'm trying to use OpenCV but it's so
freakin' difficult... Only that is a proof she's really smart...
One extra tip: There are infrared reflecting dyes, maybe it is possible to
paint the finger nails of the patient with that, and you have a reliable
means of finger tracking without the green strap on and without anyone else
noticing it.....
You might give me some tips then... I'm trying to do some kind of OCR on
pictures, like you take a picture of a car plate and it recognizes it, even
at weird angles. Could you help me doing this?
one idea (haven't checked other comments) could be make an alert when time
for meds, recognize whose face is in view from a webcam, then deploy the
correct amount/pills for that person
Like you and me OP? Maybe u beautiful OP. But I do not forget. I also do
not take anything. But kudos to the people who are making this software. A
lot of people can benefit from it.
someone on Kickstarter use another way to do the same thing!

heh and you people wonder - why aren't there more girls into electronics
and stuff ?? lol that's why if there is one she's confronted with lots of
perverted nerds
