There were over 20,000 people in the crowd today, and there was a line over
a mile long outside the Target Center. At the campaign offices all of the
phones were ringing off the hook - for three days and the response was
always "sorry the event is already sold out" I hardly think that there
wasn't amazing interest in this man!!! This video was but one of many
amazing points in his very inspiring and substantive hour long speech.
I decided to cross party lines early in 2007 after reading his books and
doing a lot of research. I am a woman but as Oprah stated early, I am a
free woman who can make informed decisions for myself. I have traveled
extensively this past year (especially to south east Asia) and we need this
chance at hope and change for our country and our international image. He
has my vote!
As a citizen of MN and a supporter of Obama, I have to say that
name-dropping Wellstone is probably a great way to earn support among the
older generations that he needs to make gains with. Some younger voters
might not even know who Paul Wellstone was or what he did for our state,
but though that is a sad state of affairs, he's doing quite well with the
young voters anyway.
I am wondering if an American can help answer a question for me. Do
polictal parties produce manifestos that contain all their major polices
and changes that are to be impliemented during their term in office? If so
where can I read it, cause google doesn't help. Thanks.
This has to be our next President. We don't need to create dynasty in this
country. We have already had 20 years of Bush/Clinton. Good-luck Obama on
Super Tuesday. Vote Obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it's so cool that Obama can appeal to democrats and republicans. We
need a leader for president, not another politician, if we want keep the
American dream alive. Way to go 2morrow2day4u!
They were watching the video monitors -- cameras got a better angle than
many of us did (he was sorrunded on all sides by people -- the were no
empty sections in the Target center that day!)
I think i have finally decided. I'm going to cross party lines and vote for
Barack Obama. That is the only real chance we have to change the direction
of this country. Yes, We Can.
Anyone notice how Clinton's video comments require "approval"??????
What?!?!?!?!? Barack will bring transparency and honesty to the White
House. Yes we can!!!!

We must take back America from the lobbyists! The same stupid lobbyists who
fought Congress in the 1990s when Congress wanted better fuel economy
standards are the fools who bankrupted GM and Chrysler. Now they are
misleading Congress again, and will bring down the American system
altogether. Listen to a lobbyist is like listening to a fox preach about
henhouse safety. They are scum! Go Obama!
Clinton 2016. These young idiots better not nominate Sanders. He's too old
and unrealistic. Half of what he wants to do is way too lofty. Clinton is
more realistic and has broader experience
+Jules You are clearly misinformed. When Obama took office and started fighting for healthcare, he did not fight for universal healthcare, he fought for another system, and we got the ACA in compromise. Bernie will fight for universal healthcare, and we could probably get something much better in compromise than the ACA, which was actually proposed by Newt Gingrich... a REPUBLICAN. Hillary Clinton wants the same... how "progressive". Just accept the fact that Hillary Clinton is a corporatist Democrat AKA Republican lite. She won't get anything done if she starts out already compromising with the Republicans, that will us move us further right, and we are already pretty damn conservative for a country.
+Sir Craigie yea YOU KNOW he will fight for it? GTFO. Did you also believe Obama would fight for it? I certainly did. And he did fight for it. But he got the ACA in compromise. BS is not going to walk into the White House and have Republicans bowing to him. Neither is Hillary Clinton. Our domestic issues will persist no matter how loudly BS runs his mouth. I happen to think he would be a step down from Obama, not a step up in terms of message, leadership and effort. We need to make changes to the Gerrymandering system that the Republicans have rigged in their favor. We need to change our politics, how we compromise, and the overall make up of congress. also Are we more likely to have issues Overseas in the coming years. YES. Who is more equipped to handle it. The answer is quite simple...Hillary! She has been to more countries and talked to more dignitaries than BS ever has or will.
+Jules The fact that he is "independent" proves even more that he is a true progressive. The Democratic party, in order to appeal to the moderates, have become the Republican party. So many centrist Democrats are ruining the party name, which hurt us in 2014. People are moving to Bernie because they are beginning to realize that "Democrats" such as Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, etc are all just corporatists. If you want a true progressive, you'd turn to Bernie Sanders, Alan Grayson, Keith Ellison, Elizabeth Warren, etc. Hillary Clinton thinks she can get things done by already comprimising with the GOP, she believes it's too hard to get universal healthcare, how the hell is she going to get anything done in office with such a weak approach? Bernie is already fighting for single-payer, though it may not happen, at least he will force the GOP to compromise a little closer to the middle. I know he will fight for it, he does not take big money from the health industry.
+Strum Dynasty Where are you getting that she has poor judgement? The emails thing is just ridiculous. Did you hear me...RIDICULOUS. No one really cares about it. She didn't do anything that other Secretaries of State had done. Even Colin Powell used a private server in some form. It's a nonsense attack on her. Benghazi could have happened on any Secretary of State's watch. The Republican Congress had (before the attack) voted against increased security at embassies. Where else can you attack her on? Are you going to give her credit for helping pull Iran to the table for the Iran deal? Are you going to give her credit for her work in other parts of the Middle East? Everyone wants to attack her for no good reason. What the hell has BS Bernie sanders done that has any real significance. He just runs his mouth. Running your mouth does not get the work done for the American People.
+Sir Craigie A true progressive who is really an independent? GTFO my friend. He is telling you what you want to hear which is...free this, free that, let's just live in a free world where everyone goes to school for free and this will solve all of our problems. This guy is delusional. Now I believe in education strongly and giving people a Fair chance to succeed. But his outlandish plans are not possible (especially in this political climate of divided government) and with the amount of debt that we currently have. HE KNOWS IT. SHE KNOWS IT. WE SHOULD KNOW IT. If you want to vote for a candidate who talks a lot and cannot back it up, vote for BS AKA BERNIE SANDERS. If you want someone who has a proven record helping the middle class and who has realistic vision and ideas that are achievable - support Hillary 2016!
+Jules Clinton supports regime change, just like the GOP, supports the death penalty, just like the GOP, took months to oppose the pipeline, used to support the TPP, just like the GOP, used to be against gay marriage, just like the GOP, wants to continue with private mandate, just like the GOP... shall I go on? And before you say "But Bernie's record on guns is not perfect!!!1" well, neither is Clinton's. Bernie is a true progressive, Clinton is a corporatist democrat, aka republican lite.
+Lionel DSouza we need a leader that truly understands foreign policy and what it means to be a statesman. Not some geezer who can read a text book. He said that North Korea has a nuclear capability in one of the last debates. And if Sanders really thinks that he will have a greater impact on race relations than Obama he should get his head examined. This is a guy who talked so much shiit about Obama, even called him weak, and suddenly he should be trusted to protect Obamas legacy? Give me a break little boys
+Jules Before you comment please make sure your opinions are of an informed and of an educated one. Whatever you just said there just shows off nothing but your ignorance and lack of knowledge about his policies. If Sanders was truly proposing something that stupid and radical how could he make it this far? Why would he have had the most individual contributions than any other candidate ever? Why would a senator who served Please think about that for a second and I hope, it motivates you to stop posting dumb ignorant comments and actually makes you a little curious to see how he plans to fund these "unrealistic" proposals. It is detailed very clearly on his website on how he plans to do it and if you exercise a little bit of logic while you read it then maybe just maybe you will have learnt something. You don't have to agree with him but the least you can do is try to understand his perspective before you critique it.
+Strum Dynasty save money? Are you kidding? Bernie's plans are way lofty...giving free college to everyone? His tax cut plans for minorities? Clinton's plans are much more sensible and realistic. Bernie is getting people excited for nothing. And besides the man can barely stand up straight. He needs to just leave the race immediately.
Age is irrelevant. He's in good health. Clinton has more federal experience, but worse judgment, which is what matters. Bernie has been serving citizens in politics for decades. Bernie's plans will save money. Hillary has already shown herself to be loyal to corporate America, not the little guy. He knows how to get things done. Clinton is not trustworthy.
