DEL REY CUSTOMS Fiberglass Door Panels EXPOSED part 2 How To
not my truck, nor did i take this vid... Big Props to Audio Innovations in Fresno, Cali. for doing this build pretty badass //aifresno.com myspace.com/aifresno ...
Thanks for pointing out that they're older model XXXs. I'd never heard of
RE Audio until a year ago, so I've never seen these older XXX subs before.
I found a dealer that had some old stock SE 12"s, and he sold me four of
them for $440.00 and no sales tax. I bought 2 pairs of XXX components from
him too. I've had all the speakers for several months, but I haven't had
the chance to buy amps yet. Car audio gets expensive once you go reletively
big...
thats where ur wrong...the XXX isnt an all around better sub the BTL's can
play louder and handle the power better than the XXX while the XXX can play
the lows better...theres a reason y the XXX are called the "low end
monsters" cuz thats wut their good for...dont get me wrong im not bashing
the XXX in anyway im jus saying...XXX can handle a hell of alot of
power...jus not as well as the BTL can
For 7 grand you can get way more then that kid I have (5) re xxx 12" (1) re
xxx component set 6.5 (4) ev 10 (2) ev 12 (4) o2 8's a re line drive a
cross over kicker warhorse ps3 strob lights train airhorn epic center and 3
us amps 1 audiopipe amp for around $6,400 so yes you could have done way
better with your money but now I have to pay to get all of that fiberglass
and installed
How many fuckin people does it take to tell xXMuddymanXx that he spelled
bass wrong haha. Seriously?? One persons mentions it then the whole world
has to join in? Y'all aren't any better than his misspelled word was. That
is a dope ass fuckin truck tho. I hella wanna get 2 re xxx 15s soon. You
mind tellin me how much money you put in to that truck? Just curious
lol yeah when i got into car audio a year and a half ago i bought 2 12's a
box and amp for them like 500$ then took it to my friends to have him hook
it up he's like where's everything else?? im like wtf im only 16 i cant
afford anything else lol wtf else do i need!
reading some of these posts make me laugh. legal the truck did a 155.3 @
32hz sealed. opened up it did a 158.0 @ 30hz is a beast truck, was a beast
truck, and thats all there is to say. O ....and NO, your sony xplodes are
not as loud. thanks, Ray@AI
no no no he had the mt not the xxx and the guy that made the re audio xxx
and makes the btl even said himself that the xxx is an all around better
sub and actually on that video he only had 10,000 watts on 4 18 re audio mt
not xxx
About $10-15,000 dollars subs are $400-500 each fiberglass about
$1,500-2000 batterys about $350-400 each amps range from $250-800 each and
overhead meaning paying for someone to install all of this is about $4-6000
all my amps are rockford fosgate. they're T40001BD - Rockford Fosgate 1 Ch
4000 Watt Amplifier. both of em together was like $4200 so i would rather
pay that instead of some cheap amps like audiopipe lol
thats nothing. i'm 16 and i'm running 2 Rockford P2 15's Wired at 1 Ohm. a
1500 RMS Watt Clarion Amp and JL VR525 Coaxials. Alpine CDA-105 Receiver.
i've saved for a car and car audio since i was 11 lol
i got a jvc 30sw head unit 15" memphis mojo MOJO15D2 Boss Audio OL5KD
amplifier All around memphis audio except for the head unit and amp but im
working on it o its in a ported box too and im sixteen
@bbotelhoHI actually +3db is not twice as loud. 3db is the amount it takes
for a human to notice there was a change in volume. The correct answer is
around 10db to be perceived as twice as loud.
@xXmuddymanXx my truck slams pretty hard AND I use it to haul stuff. and in
this guys situation, I'm sure he has a trailer hitch. :-) save the hate for
something more constructive.
but compare steves setup to this 4 18's 30,000 watts and this is 6 12's
with idk watts but if steve replaced his btl's with re audio xxx 18 then it
would b a different story
@DRUNKiiPANDA i remember ray (owner of the shop not the truck) saying how
much this install was BUT i dont remember how much he said it was....ill
say around 8-10 grand+
well that included my amps mids n highs a 7'' touch screen disc changer n
some tvs in the headrest. it wasnt jus the subs i bought a bunch of other
neat shit too..
sweet i just put 7 grand in my ride. i have 2 re audio 15's 2 rockford
fosgate amps n a alpine 7'' touch deck in the front . if u want quality u
gota pay for it
hah i see what you mean here...but if your hittin a 155 you cant just do
something minor to come back with a 158. 3dbs in the 150s really is a huge
differnce.
i put 7 grand but that included custom box n instilation n a bunch of other
stuff but its great i dont need 20,000 watts 2 15's is good enough for
me... :)
XXX is a bad ass sub. I would love to have some there damn expenisive
though lol. It is I am probley going to get (2) 15's in a single cab like
this

How to remove door panel on your vehicle. (Pontiac Grand Am example)
This procedure is good for a lot of panels out there, the Grand Am is one of the more difficult that I've came across. Please subscribe and thanks for watching!
Wow man! I can't thank you enough for doing this video! The example inthe
Haynes manual that covers the year of my car in its years covered range is
generic and shows the door panel of the older models; completely different
design. I was able to figure everything out except the screws in the door
handle area. It was driving me nuts! You've saved my day...thank you
sincerely! May all good things come your way!!!!
@littlechrist1 Thanks! Wish I could but I don't have one laying around..
LOL.. I believe you need to remove the top pilar panels and possibly some
clips near the top below the rear window. Haven't done one but I do kinda
remember what it looks like. Just a guess though....
@2035reprezent Well it does happen. If I were "stuck" on this one I would
have came back and had the clip already out. But yes, I think it's happened
about 3 times and I have used the battery excuse once... :) Just not on
this one.
@Johnnysshop nice video non the less. but i have a toyota echo and i took
off the door pannel but the speakers are like nailed in there, i cant take
them out for shit. they are stock speakers... any ideas.
Thanks to this video is took me maybe an hour to get both front speakers
replaced as well as the 6x9's in back. Lady friend is happy and I got it
done quick so I'm happy, thanks for the video!
awsome man! this is great i need to remove my panels to replace my
regulator and sound deaden the doors. and can you by chance make a video of
how to remove the ceiling in a grand am?
awesome video it helped me a lot but do you think you could make a video on
how to remove the rear panel of an 97 s10 truck so i can replace my
speakers?? or at least tell me how lol
@knotdrummer88 Thanks for the feedback! I wish I could make that video but
it is a royal pain in the ass the remove and install a headliner. I mean
like hours of work basically...
@Johnnysshop you should get one LOL jk ..but thanks for replying and i will
try that thanks man and for a guess that sounds better than any idea i
would ever come up with lol
Omg I need a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix Door Removal, along with how to access
the back speakers there all blow almost and there getting annoying!! Please
post a video man! Thanks
Thanks you so much , I have been looking for a how to on this for three
days and couldnt find a good one. I need to replace the speaker in my door
too ! Thanks Again !
@Johnnysshop, yea they are rivited, i couldnt be bothered so i go them

helpful vids mate.

@ymalmsteen887 I agree with you in a sense. You have to remember though it
is a lot of work to dub your own bass over the whole song, and even then it
probably won't match the same bass line as before. Voices being slowed down
is rather strange, but once you get used to it there is nothing more badass
than slowing a song down and killing the lows.
