The Worst Zamboni Driver Ever
This Zamboni driver took a long time to finish, he kept missing spots on the ice. Listen to the fans reactions. The quarter began and he will still on the ice.
Ok I am a zamboni driver. It isnot easy. You are not trying to avoid Krebs
in a parking lot. This is something that takes time and a hell of a lot of
hand eye coordination. Driving with left hand while doing controls with
right and keeping a highish speed so you dont make it to where its like
waves and keeping it straight so there is no creases and not running
through the wall. Sorry for the run on but come on give us a brake.. id
like to see you do better. Drive left side and on something thats so big
you cant hardly see where your nose is. Let me guess. You got an office and
have 15 minuets to finish some papers and take it down 20 flights of stairs
wearing Rollerblades with 300 people screaming with you cuzz you are
hogging the rail. But what they (YOU) dont understand is if those papers
dont make it to the office everyone will have to walk on tacks for the rest
of the day... so now I understand why you think you have the right to boo
and talk shit to this guy.. dude think about shit before you get all pissy
about something when it inconveniences you. You where trying to make him
look like a fool.. now you are the fool. Your the jack ass that thinks
about nothing but himself. So SCREW OFF!
Ah the safety of a crowd always brings out the goofs. I admit that this guy
DOES suck, but it makes it worse when people heckle you. Once when I was
still a rookie, a group of dads heckled me so after my clean I climbed up
in the stands and asked them what the fuck their problem was, told them
they made it worse and asked them "Do I come to where YOU work and knock
the dicks out of your mouths? Not one of them said shit! Crowd safety goes
away pretty quick when faced with a 6'5" 270 lb. Canuck!!
I ran a Zamboni at a local ice rink for a few years. Some of the kids on a
Jr. hockey team tried to heckle me while doing a resurfice. I stoppped
right in the middle and dumped the snow in the center ice, and drove the
Zamboni off the ice. I then had a talk with the kids coach. After that day
all the players would stay in the lockerroom untill I was finished
resurfacing the rink.
Some persons just dont have any kind of respect.Would like to see that guy
doing the ice. This is more technical than it looks like at the
begginning.Just had my training and I apprehend those situation, but dont
really care about idiiot who dont really know what theyr are saying..
@Konfxsion : Yep, that's right!! He's totally rushing it... don't you hate
it when the last group has a medal ceremony or something and you're trying
to usher them off? Then you gotta haul ass while the next group wonders why
YOU are so late? Sheeesh
Id love to see the assholes in the crowd get the ice ready... its actually
not super easy to do... I have driven a zamboni for awhile now and
sometimes if ur a bit late on the ice its tough so dont give the damn guy a
hard time...
Takes 9 minutes to do a proper flood, any longer or shorter then Ur going
too fast or too slow, he shouldn't be speeding down like that and having to
slow to take a corner....wonder how long they gave him to do a flood??
haha were out of time dude!! aw man! The music makes it so much funnier. HE
will never make his dream of smoothing the Winter Olympics. He should steal
the Paul Hewet basketball and the winter pants before he's fired.
he probably had a late start getting on. i am a zamboni driver. i can make
a seven to eight minute decent cut. he seems to be rushing so i'm guessing
he got on late. you can only go so fast on a zam.
i am a zamboni driver and it is quite difficult and theres a lot to it, and
he didnt seem to be jacking off too much probably had something happening
in the intermission before he could resurface
@Konfxsion very true but look how early he's turning. You can totally tell
he was lost after missing the first couple eyebrows. Couldn't have been at
a pee-wee game either lol poor guy.
@ford9868 Im a 4th timer. People can get pretty impatient with you when
you're new. Its not as easy as it looks when you're learning. And by the
way its called a period, not a quarter
@ford9868...for starters hockey doesn't have "quarters". Secondly, check
your grammar ("he will still on the ice") - criticizing while posting your
own errors...hmmm...
first rookie mistake its a period quarters are football and basketball, and
this zam driver is absoulutely horrible i fortunately never had a guy that
bad
