Its not the back four. Its the tactics that make us leak goals. We consistently let people run at our back four. Defending is a team task not just the back four. Agger, Skrtel, sakho and toure would and have got into most top teams in the world. Barca wanted agger. City wanted skrtel, sakho played for paris and is known as one of the defenders with world class potential. Toure has won championships. It doesn't matter who we put there the outcome will be the same. The tactics don't need an overhaul they just need tweaking. Starting with the positioning of the mids.
