why kriti sanon? 1 movie and young star? WTF? Rajkumar rao? Tahir raj?
Sushant ? They made a good movie choices.
This conversation would have been better if you have selected good people.
+Amit Zala agreed. and she didnt have much to contribute. not her fault but they shouldnt have selected her. shraddha, varun, sushant would have been much better choices
+aksm yeah alia bhatt did a fabulous job in highway. it didn't feel like that she is acting it feels like she's just being herself. she did it like she herself has been in that situation in real life
+Pavitra Dvn lol ya thats what i meant. am not fond of her acting at all. always thought she is so overrated. but yea the emotions r better than the dialogue delivery
ikr ..I mean I have to agree I loved her in highway..but the way she talks is just so fake..as if she learned all of it and is just puking it out. I dont know about you but. dont find her to be as genuine as she and others make her out to be
+Mayank kakkar I know, tell me about it! That guy just went on and on and on.... OMG!!

Jio MAMI Movie Mela: Rajeev Masand & Anupama Chopra with Deepika Padukone
In this session at the Jio MAMI Movie Mela, moderated by film critics Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra, Deepika Padukone talks about her amazing journey ...
+Tanya Sharma You're the one who despises your own look, running around remedying it like an obsession. Pretty sure it wasn't my comments over the past few hours which instilled this deep-seated inferiority within you. And as someone who likes videos celebrating feasts of slaughtered, tortured animals, vacuous screaming about "racism" and posting phrases like "Peace out!" is nothing more than a joke.
+tustinn rent You're like the biggest bully I have met in a while so I'm not even addressing you here anymore, I just want anyone who happen to read the awful things you have said to wrote and if it made them feel bad to know that they are beautiful and worthwhile and its people like you that bully other people that aren't.And he'll yeah I take lots of selfies, I'm a gorgeous girl and I don't ever imagine I'll be 80 years old and think "wow I had taken less pictures of myself..." LmaoPlus I have the luxury to take pictures of myself that people like. I'm basically certain you are not one of those people..Peace out! Try and be less hateful if you canx
+Tanya Sharma Uhh, I wasn't joking. And yes, I have the prerogative to evaluate these "celebrities" on any and every basis they attempt to sell themselves and their image on. As for you feeling inferior for your dusky skin, well, poor you. If it makes you feel any better, doubt you're ever going to feel "good enough," but keep spending to fulfill your shallow pursuits. Bet your Facebook page is littered with selfies.
+tustinn rent I realize you're trolling me but I genuinely want to wish better for you . As far as your skin lightening joke, I actually spent a lot of my life feeling like I wasn't good enough because I was dusky and it really fucking sucked. if making me feel bad gives you a weird power trip so be it. But as far as the original conversation we were supposed to have before you attacked my appearance goes, attacking someone for how they look or sound is never okay and I genuinely hope you learn that before you die.
Don't let me keep you from your skin lightening routine. I'm sure you'll look just as soulless as her by the time you're done. So, go, your make-up beckons.
+tustinn rent oh one last thing!! The whole "brown" people (fuck you for that racism) have to put up with that because of racist producers that demand things. Why do you think all the background dancers are white?? I don't know if you're actually Indian and dealing with internalized racism or you are just an asshole who happens to be racist but I'll hope you learn to be open minded and not mention someone's accent as a bad thing because what someone has to say is a lot more important than how they sound when they say it
+tustinn rent oh so you are just changing the subject?? We are talking about her accent. And those things you have mentioned are a result of white superiority so yeah in a way you are. Clearly you're one of those trolls so I'm done with this conversation but I'll say one last thing Deepika is an INDIAN girl her first language is HINDI (or maybe a SI language since she is from there but still regional) her accent in any other language DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER as long as she speaks her FIRST language correctly. That's literally how the world works.
+Tanya Sharma Don't worry about my shallowness. Funny thing about "brown" folks who aspire to look nothing like themselves in interviews and in movies with make-up that purges them of all essence of their natural (what I consider to be beautiful, BTW) skin color. Seems like I'm not the one discrediting a BILLION people.
+tustinn rent seriously if you're more concerned with her accent then anything else then you're pathetically shallow. Not liking someone's accent is the most ridiculous reason I can think of to discredit someone. And you say she sounds like a caricature but guess what about a BILLION people from South Asia sound exactly like her or even worse. You're basically saying unless all those people "fix" their accent what they have to say doesn't matter.
Hmm, I didn't say that it's "incorrect." Her enunciation sounds harsh and caricatured, and reminded me of Apu of The Simpsons. I'm not obligated to like her accent simply because she is brown. "European accents are sexy ??" Are they...? Never really struck me as such, but OK, if you insist.
Wow that is the most racist thing I have read all week! How dare you say the way someone talks is wrong or incorrect that is such a gross thing to say as a human being. Why are brown people's accents bad but European accents are sexy ?? How the fuck is that okay. You seriously need to evaluate who you are as a person and why you're so racist like wow for real
it's so funny that talking about a person about A HOUR. how amazing that
person, how beautiful that person, how succesful, how deep, how interesting
this person about A HOUR. Seriously? what this person made for humanity or
the industry what she works for. very beautiful face organicly got the
attention and success from fame n popularity. It's pathetic and funny...
The stars who are only star because they are beautiful and (any more) can
cry are our gods. Giving deep speeches like you survived the world, you
make gain a perspective to the film industry... Same popular actor shit.
+Gurubhai Black She raised the cleavage controversy issue and so much support over it on twitter but now when she had the audience and oppurtunity to talk about it,she just refused to even accept that she even has a problem with objectification. How do they expect Bollywood to change if even the leading actresses don't want to talk about it.She says"i will only talk about My cause, mental health".Great inspirational figure she is for sure. And what will she talk about mental health that doctors already cannot talk about while she cannot even talk about her work and has no perspective about even the movies she is doing. She is a good poster girl and is hard working, media should just stop asking her questions which require insight and thought
To Anyone who reads this: You may like her work and her as a person but be
mindful of what you take from these "stars".They come prepared and have
teams working behind them ,creating their image and making them sell. They
have to be nice and polite and humble, nobody will watch them otherwise. They
get paid hugely for keeping up with this image. Some of them maybe all that
they seem to be but their roles and what you see in media don't define
them. They are not your friends or family.Find better idols in life, who are
true to what they are and not saying things to be loved by people. There are
many around you who are working hard and making their time's worth or
better still become your own idol and make your own path. Please don't make
the mistake of creating stars out of normal people. It's their job to act
and it would be enough if they do it well
+wild ostrich Brilliantly put! Human worship is so degrading. The truly intelligent person can see through the fallacy of all this idolatry that celeb culture propagates.
+wild ostrich you are very right man. i hope the majority, the huge sheep herd sometime gonna figure it out like you... so right.
