Health Care Stakeholder Discussion: Advanced Models of Primary Care
Director of White House Office of Health Reform Nancy-Ann DeParle hosts a stakeholder discussion on the potential impact of advanced models of primary care.
You have provided no support for what you have proclaimed to be fact, just
baseless claims. If you want my sources, then I'll give you the ones I use
most regularly (Internet sources, so EVERYONE can see them; books are a
cheap copout for this type of debate): USHMM[dot]org
holocaust[dot]about[dot]com remember[dot]org jewishvirtuallibrary[dot]org
holocaust[dot]trc[dot]org Indeed the Nazis were wrong, and I'm not
defending them. Nobody is. I'm simply defending Bismarck's near UHC plan
which you
You sure got your panties in a wad over being recognized for the views
you've expressed. I wasn't talking about other people's posts, creationism,
or any of the topics you've tried to change the subject to. You've denied
basic facts that everyone knows were elements of The Holocaust. Having
viewed some of your pro-Nazi comments, I now understand why you deny major
aspects of The Holocaust. I've provided support for the facts I've
mentioned. The Nazis were wrong, and you're wrong to defend them.
So just because I like studying World War II-era historical related
material I'm a Nazi? I know what you're trying to do now. You've avoided
answering my question, you have tried changing the subject, and have
attempted to twist my words (and your own words) around to meet your own
ends. You're trying to get out of this debate, that's all, because you know
you can't maintain your point because you got the facts completely wrong in
the first place. I've seen it time after time with Creationists.
Right. Never happened. Got it. Back to reality. The Holocaust did happen,
and it was more than just an annoying little incident that a couple of
doctors dabbled in. It was carried out by doctors within the German health
care system. Every member of that health care system was involved to some
extent. Some were only involved to the extent that they were bound by the
rules requiring them to report their patients. Some were directly involved
in the killings. They were all part of the same system.
The whole system was replaced under the Third Reich by Nazi idealisms.
You're confusing the issue. Eugenics was never in it when Otto von Bismarck
created it, social Darwinism was not either, and racial/ethnic cleansing
was also never included in the plan in the first place. The system we use
today is essentially the same one Bismarck put into effect, with some
changes here and there over the last century. HOWEVER, there are no
elements of Nazi ideology in it today. THAT is what is important.
"Recognized" lol. I've only got like 3 videos about World War II; the rest
are about World War I. The simple fact of the matter is you don't know a
damn thing about history, despite your persistence that you do, and you
don't know a damn thing about me. I didn't change the subject. I made a
comparison. Do you know the definition of the term? I've set the record
straight about the facts, because you were the one who was misrepresenting
and distorting them in the first place. Someone had to.
Just one? Dr. Karl Brandt was Hitler's personal physician & the Reich
Commissioner for Sanitation & Health. He participated in the euthanasia
program which was the execution of patients deemed unworthy of life, and
too big a drain on the rest of the medical system. Patients were taken from
German hospitals, and killed, as part of the German medical system. Brandt
was found guilty of war crimes at the Nuremberg Medical Trials and was
executed on June 2, 1948, at Landsburg prison in Bavaria.
Did I say it never happened? No. You're being intentionally misleading to
try and push your point. Unfortunately, that's something a 5-year-old can
see through. Anyway, of course the Holocaust happened. Nobody has been
denying that it didn't. Where have you been? Yeah- and? What's your point
lol? The Nazi health care system was not what Bismarck had put in place in
1883, the system we used until the rise of the Third Reich and right after
it fell and use today. Common knowledge, dummkopf.
The constitution has something called the Elastic Clause that gives
Congress the authority to make whatever new laws are necessary for the
well-being of the people. It's near the end of Article I. 47 million people
without health insurance is a serious problem and Congress is trying to
help them. And yes, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security cost more than
they bring in. So do libraries, highways, the FBI, the and public schools.
They aren't for-profit programs; they are expenditures.
I read all the time, and it is because I read that I know I am right. You
would benefit greatly from picking up a book on medicine in Nazi-Germany
sometime. Since we've been having this rather tiresome discussion for
nearly a week, I'm just going to ask you for a name. Just name one medical
doctor from Germany who was executed after World War II for reasons not
related to the concentration camps/Holocaust, then I will admit I was
wrong. You made the assertion, you back it with proof.
Craiglist has advertisements for "organizers" and "leaders" sponsored by
some Progressive (brown shirt)organization Now is the time to work for
change We need people like you—lots of people like you—to go out in
communities around the country this summer and help make change happen. And
you can earn money doing it. Learn vital campaign skills including how to
fundraise, run a news conference from some of the nation's top advocates,
organizers and experts. and mobilize activists.
I keep the comments they post because I'm not a fascist like you. Because I
think they have every right to say what they want about Hitler and Nazism,
be it for or against. I think they have every right to speak freely,
regardless of my disagreements or agreements. Furthermore, one can easily
infer from the variety of your videos that you have no interest in history,
you are a very strong Republican (not to mention Conservative), and you
have no respect for anything not American.
With that said, you are unwilling to listen to what others have to say-
especially if what they say goes against what you think. You're probably
one of the most arrogant and half-assed people I've ever come into contact
with here on YouTube, and you're a painfully laughable excuse for a
debater, let alone a historian. With that said, you have given me a good
laugh over the past week here with your "knowledge" that constitutes the
quality and accuracy of a Wikipedia article lol.
Found it. Elastic Clause: Article 1, sec. 1, clause 18. And you're right --
it does not say in the Constitution that people are owed Health care.
That's a judgement by our elected leaders. One could argue that the
Declaration of Independence argues in favor of health care: "Life...Pursuit
of Happiness." If a man can't afford life-saving drugs or preventative care
because of insurance company rules, isn't he being denied his life? Or
maybe just his pursuit of happiness?
Where have I made a pro-Nazi comment? I haven't. If you think I have, then
prove it. You made the assertion, you back it with proof. With that said, I
do not censor my viewers like you do. If they support National Socialism,
that's fine by me. If they don't, that's also fine. Now I know free speech
can be a hard thing for you personally when it comes into conflict with
your views, but I on the otherhand like to give everyone a fair say-
whether I agree or disagree.
We all know that it is becoming very difficult to get accurate information
regarding the health care bill. I have come across sevral things that I
think may be helpful for those of you seeking the truth and have taken the
time to put them in my comment section for anyone who is having trouble
getting answers. I also have a link to the pdf file for the easier to read
version of the bill which I think is really awesome. It was sent out by
congress via a request.
As part of Hitler's Nazi pseudoscience medical program, not part of the
near universal health care system Otto von Bismarck created in 1883, 6
years before Hitler was even born lol. Furthermore, Brandt was involved
with the Holocaust under the T4 program, which sterilized patients deemed
"unfit" for society, while it killed people deemed racially unfit
(including Jews, gypsies, and homosexuals- all of whom were original
targets of the Holocaust).
Bull shit. Disabled patients were killed en masse as part of a program
operated under the German medical system. The T4 Program served as a model
for the exterminations in the concentration camps. The Holocaust wasn't a
birth control program. Try reading some writings and sermons by Blessed
Clemens August Graf von Galen. Take a look at some propaganda from your
medical community of the day. i26.tinypic [dot] com [slash] 5upx68 [dot] jpg
You said that I said that the Holocaust never happened, which I didn't.
Nice try with twisting your and my words about though to suit your own
ends. Still haven't answered my question. How does Nazism invalidate the
whole system Otto von Bismarck created in 1883 (again, let me remind you
that Hitler completely changed it when he came to power)? Yet the world did
nothing. Not the United States, not Russia, not Great Britain, nobody. Lol.
Finally, I really don't care anymore if you remain blissfully but
arrogantly ignorant of the facts. It's really quite amusing- your
persistence. So continue. I will get a chance to keep on laughing. But as
far as debate is concerned, we're done. You can't back your position
anymore, you haven't justified it in the first place and show no intention
of ever doing so, and you lack the knowledge to do so in the first place.
I'm done now.
I really hope the white house will actually listen to these guys. The
family docs are the ones on the front line trenches of health care, dealing
most directly with the healthcare problem. They have the greatest
opportunity to both improve healthcare quality and cost - if they're
actually listened to. I'll pay for healthcare integration, because in the
end it'll be cheaper than what's going on right now...
Uh, did you watch this video? Integration is a strictly medical
organization term... this discussion doesn't involve the question of who's
paying for it at all. Except maybe the idea that the gov't would pay for
the restructuring, which if you listen to all the guy's stories,
essentially pays for itself. I don't have blanket-support for the
president, but this video is encouraging.
What's unconstitutional about it, BeantownJ? I keep hearing that. And what
makes you say those programs are bankrupt? They're still being funded.
Furthermore, Medicare and Medicaid are generally approved of by folks who
are enjoying its benefits. Social security and Veteran's Assistance too.
Most people if told they could go on Medicare tomorrow would be pretty
happy about it.
I should have taken a look at your videos sooner, so I'd know I was dealing
with a neo-Nazi. Your video titled "Music from Nazi-Germany" and your
comments there tell me all I need to know about you. I won't even bother
viewing your other pro-Nazi videos. No need to continue refuting your
claims. Your pro-Nazi bias discredits anything you have to say on the
subject.
I don't know about that "12 million figure." Where did you get that number?
I doubt the 47 million includes 12 million undocumented aliens. Besides,
the bill does NOTHING for undocumented aliens. For better or worse, it does
not give health care to them. This is a fact. Look it up on
factcheck-dot-org or some other reputable news source.
A long but informative video all the same. Hopefully, this plan passes. The
naysayers to it apparently aren't aware or do not wish to acknowledge that
we Germans have been using a near UHC system like the one Obama is
proposing since Otto von Bismarck came to power. And you know what? It's
worked great for us for nearly 130 years, lol.
After they were sent through experimentation projects linked to the
Holocaust, the same sort of stuff people like Josef Mengele and Hans
Eppinger worked in. Disabled patients were experimented on with drugs for
the most part; Jews had drugs tested on them as well as experimental
surgeries, not to mention a bunch of other ungodly stuff.
