+PDOGTTBULLY LOL you are so funny! :0) This made me smile. I generally have a soft voice, this day I was speaking a bit lower as not to disturb my neighbors in the next room (thin walls)Have a nice day.
I moved to Australia from the United States. Australia is VERY, VERY safe
in comparison. As a woman, I know I can walk around at night alone here and
nothing will happen to me.
*"All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a
non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has
no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except
by piety and good action." [An extract taken from the last sermon of
Muhammad, the messenger of God]*
*"He (Muhammad) must be called the savior of humanity. I believe that if a
man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world he would
succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much
needed peace and happiness..." [Sir George Bernard Shaw, 'The Genuine
Islam,' Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936]*
*"If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and astonishing results are
the three criteria of a human genius, who could dare compare any great man
in history with Muhammad?" [Alphonse de Lamartine, French poet and
statesman, History of Turkey]*
*"....I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won
a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid
simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the prophet, the scrupulous regard
for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his
intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own
mission." [Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Indian thinker, statesman, and
nationalist leader, Young India (periodical), 1928, Volume X]*
*"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential
persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he
was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the
religious and secular level." [Michael H. Hart, Professor of astronomy,
physics and the history of science, The 100: A Ranking of The Most
Influential Persons In History, New York, 1978, p. 33]*

What Men Know That Women Don't - A Woman's Response (excerpt)
Hear the FULL INTERVIEW here; //www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QHM41jKJpk&feature=relmfu An excerpt of a discussion with Rich Zubaty and Australian ...
This lady might be talking about herself. Perhaps she has some sort of
psychopathology in which she needs to be 'the special girl' to extremely
sexist, mentally frail men; men who may fear the erosion of their
privileges, and may experience the agonies of existential anxiety as they
find their authority increasingly dethroned, especially in western
societies; men who certainly seem to feel unappreciated. Maybe Sue
Hindmarsh, wants to be their 'speshul snowflake ' ? With the emphasis on
'flake'. The pain of existential anxiety can be worked through. Anyone,
male or female, who finds themselves in the grips of the same, might
benefit from therapy with a psychologist. Mental anguish often seems
to cause sufferers to cast about for scapegoats, to explain their
condition. With some men, it is the women's movement and women in general,
causing all the mayhem in their hearts and minds, possibly because they
need to experience the overt validation of women, but feel that they can't
seem to get it. Its an emotional problem that disfigures reasoning, and
can become obsessive, but which can be worked through, with professional
help. Dealing with life's disappointments is a challenge for all. Its a
shame when extreme subjectivity, and lack of self awareness, leads to some
to defame and even to demonise whole sections of humanity, as in sexism and
racism. An inability to self-soothe is probably also part of the problem,
and that may go to inadequate parenting as a child and /or extreme
sensitivity. Some psychologists think that men are underdiagnosed for
Borderline Personality Disorder.
+Deidre Nolan It's really not difficult to take your original comment and use it as a criticism of the modern feminist movement. In fact, your comment works much better in concisely criticizing feminism than it does the comments of the woman in the audio clip.
Wow! typical inability of woman to criticize their own or others behaviour. When a woman is faced with info that contradicts her world view, she becomes more steadfast in that worldview. Bring on the adhoms, babe!
+Deidre Nolan why do you think i mentioned the conscious thing in my initial comment to you? That point seemed pretty ludacris to me. Apart from that she had some good insights and so did the guy.
You know very well she is a dope. You know very well that it is crazy, and not just an exaggeration, to suggest that women are not conscious. Why dally with the nuts? There are too many reasonable commentators of all persuasions to glean understanding from.
+Deidre Nolan If you aren't interested in what she has to say then you don't have to take in the information or dwell on it. A lot of what she says has studies to back it up though so she's definitely not talking out of her ass. I dont see anything 'flaky' about her words at all really. And who knows what her motivations for becoming a philosopher are, im not going to assume anything. And no im not a woman I have a penis.
Hi, and thanks for your response. Some things are just so discrediting, and so damned silly, that it just becomes 'reject' time for me.It is crazy to say women are not conscious. Now the lady might be very intelligent and creative ( like yourself !) but her standpoint is just too flaky for words, and that doesn't really entice me to dwell too deeply upon what she has to say, about anything. Things to do, you know! You and I are not conscious.( I'm assuming you are a woman.) and indeed women per se are not conscious, oh except perhaps, for this one amazing woman, trying so hard to get the blokes to hoist her up to a pedestal.Don't you think that's maybe a little bit disturbed? Anyway what do you create? Deidre
I think you're rationalizing away some good points she made. Men and women are different. She may be overemphasizing some points like not being as conscious as men though for sure(she seems pretty damn conscious and insightful to me which automatically proves her point wrong). I wouldn't write her off as psychologically disturbed though, maybe you're talking about yourself? just kidding ;)
ha! genius! have any extra!... this should be good.
